This past Saturday I had M over for dinner with the intent to go out to hear some live music somewhere.

So this is my way of telling her that I stopped wanting my ball and the ball is in her court (to use a mixed metaphor).

OMG I love the tennis ball metaphor.

Well, you are one busy guy in the dating ring - 3 in one week?! That is more than any of us here I think!!!!! YAHOO.

Sorry you don't have chemistry with M but it sounds like you enjoy each other's company. Hopefully she feels the same way and is not holding out for something more.

I love CDNG's humor with the dog and the ball and the tennis ball gift idea is good.

And this new one Debbie sounds nice enough. I am not so sure I like lying about the age - but it is only 2 years and it must be frustrating for her in THAT age group where the guys all want 30 somethings.

Your dinner menu sounds heavenly - I wish we could all come over for leftovers the next day!!

Cheers - have fun and keep us posted!

OMG - I am on the floor laughing - I cannot imagine what my reaction would be if a guy made a puffy peep for a date!!

The next time you do that you have to take a pic for us - if you can - I guess it blows up and then retracts pretty fast, eh?

And yes - I wish CNDG could share her stories about the yahoos on OLD - OMG. Collectively we could all write a book!!!!!! LOL!!

I'm glad that you had an interesting and good conversation with Debbie. I like that upi invited her to dinner..and the menu sounds yummy! And a spark of chemistry? That is good :o) I suppose you will discover tonight if she feels a spark, too!

Happy times for you ahead.

LOL! I guess it would show quite a sense of humor.. I'm not sure if I would laugh or run. Probably laugh because in some wierd way I'm on the same wavelength!

Mark I think you are doing great. Leaving someone their space is so difficult and you are still open to new people - I can feel how connected you are to CNDG but sometimes letting people feel the rest of the fish out there is the best option. And I commend you for trying to keep your present alive with the cirque tickets. YOu will all love that and it will be low pressure - lots of great visuals to concentrate on!!
Um the peep thing is making me howl over here. If someone made me a peep like that I wouldnt know whether to think they were terrific because they were so comfortable with their goofy side or worry they were lost MIA in the goofy side. I do know though that on our third date, I asked SYB back to my place and asked him if he wanted to see some fireworks. I had bought a small cannon of fireworks - you just light it and it launches stuff - very cool to set off from my balcony. We laughed so hard that night and nearly set the place on fire. I will never forget it - and I am sure he thought I was crazzzzy but we had many fireworks that night!!

What a cool thing! He must have fallen head over heels over your sense of fun, and humor! Now that is a unique thing to do!
