Hi,
Have to agree with Soonee and Rlch. It is your daughter's activity, she should not be put in a situation where she is in the middle. My BF and I have been together almost 2 years. We never go to one another's kids' activities. My S16 is horrified when his dad is senseless enough to bring OW to his concerts. He knows it will make ME uncomfortable, and if his brother is there it will make him really mad, S16 doesn't want her there, so he gets uncomfortable about it. My kids like my BF. But they don't want to have some scene between him and my X. I don't want to step on the toes of my BF's insecure X, so I stay out of his kids lives, too. It is totally NOT about us or our kids or X's being control freaks. We just don't see the benefit of creating an issue where none should exist. Pick your battles. X referring to you as "Your F*#ki%n& Mother is a battle to get the stress over.
