Good morning ladies (and gents!)

It's Monday :~)

1) Was your morning: on time, wild and barely got out the door, late as usual?

2) Got anything fun planned for the 4th?

3) Do you like watching fireworks or hanging out at your house?

4) Is there something special you like to eat for the 4th?

5) Okay, and if you are not from the US, tell us if you have anything fun planned for your week or the coming weekend! (Alison, MsClemmy et al)

My morning is on time - but my only commute is from the kitchen to my office - LOL!! I don't have anything planned yet for the 4th - a friend said he might take us out on his boat. We usually like hanging out at the house - DS doesn't like the noise or the crowds and is a basic homebody. My favorite 4th of July food is brownies!

I hope everyone has a great week!!

I'll play...

1) Was your morning: on time, wild and barely got out the door, late as usual?
I was on time this morning. No rushing at all. Got a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed as did all the kiddos. That was nice for a change.

2) Got anything fun planned for the 4th?
We actually have a birthday party that day. Not the child's actual birthday but since she is a single mom and he will be gone for the next several weekends, this was the only day she could come up with. Fine with us. Pool party and she says that the pool is doing a cook out etc so we will stay for that. Then home to change and off to fireworks.

3) Do you like watching fireworks or hanging out at your house? Definitely going to watch the fireworks.

4) Is there something special you like to eat for the 4th? Hot Dogs and potato salad. Not deli potato salad but homemade. I can't wait.

That is all for me. So odd having a holiday midweek but I guess it will break things up.

Happy Monday to everyone:

1) Was your morning: on time, wild and barely got out the door, late as usual?
On time. Mainly because I have a six year old walking alarm clock. She is soooo realiable, I never oversleep.

2) Got anything fun planned for the 4th?
BBQ at a friends house (I am in charge of desserts) and fireworks.

3) Do you like watching fireworks or hanging out at your house?
Fireworks all the way. We can see them from our backyard.

4) Is there something special you like to eat for the 4th?
I make this very corny cake that is deocrated like the American flag. Yummy blueberries and strawberries with homemade poundcake and fresh whipped cream - aren't you jealous?

Wild and barely out the door.... i left the sink full of dishes, the beds unmade, and the living room a mess.... BUT i made it to work ontime....

2) Got anything fun planned for the 4th? I think I'm just gonna take the kids for a walk to the lake... we can see the fireworks from the lake.

3) Do you like watching fireworks or hanging out at your house? watching fireworks ... i just don't like the traffic afterwards.

4) Is there something special you like to eat for the 4th? nothing in particular

1) Was your morning: late as usual. No appointments for this morning so no hurry to get into work. My digital camera got fried yesterday while kayaking so I was online trying to figure out how to get it repaired before leaving for work.

2) Got anything fun planned for the 4th? I hope to go to opening day of the Waterfront Blues Festival. $8 and 2 cans of food donation to the food bank for a 11am to midnight time of live music. What a bargain!

3) Do you like watching fireworks or hanging out at your house? I don't excited about fireworks anymore

4) Is there something special you like to eat for the 4th? Not anymore since I turned to veg-aquarium and spending time by myself since my divorce.

Had a great weekend to start off July! A super date with Hiker on Friday night, then another on Sunday night! WoohoooO! I'm living in the world of Perma-grin and Hiker afterglow. :-) :-) :-)

Fourth of July? Not so many plans...

1) Was your morning: on time, wild and barely got out the door, late as usual?
*** since we have nothing to get up for, there was no time frame. Lazy summer days here! It's nearly noon and we're STILL in our jammies!

2) Got anything fun planned for the 4th?
*** Nope- except maybe finding a spot to sit and watch the city's fireworks without getting into the thick of the crowds to do it.

3) Do you like watching fireworks or hanging out at your house?
*** We usually hang out all day, then go watch fireworks at night.

4) Is there something special you like to eat for the 4th?
*** Not really, though I have memories of parks, hot dogs and watermelon as a kid.

Have a Happy 4th to everyone!
