It's all together too quiet here!!!!!

What did you do on Saturday morning? I got up and sent Shane to work and then I relaxed. Did nothing for hours. Felt good!

What did you do on Sunday evening? After a long trip to get Dylan, we ate dinner and came home and I took a shower and fell asleep before 9 on the couch. Shane watched TV and put D to bed for me.

What was the best thing you ate all weekend? Sunday night, we ate Mexican food at El Charro. They have the best hot sauce!

What's your favorite song right now? Hard to say. I listen to so much each day and sing with the radio in the car. I've been listeing to a classic rock channel I like, but I'll turn it over to country or top 40 too.

Anything funny the kid/kiddos did over the weekend??? Dylan was with his father, so I have no idea what he did. Scott never tells me anything.

What did you do on Saturday morning? ~~~ Rushed around to get ready to go to Six Flags

What did you do on Sunday evening? ~~~ Watched Football and then Drag Racing. TOTAL couch potato!

What was the best thing you ate all weekend? ~~~ Funnel Cake at Six Flags. YUM

What's your favorite song right now? ~~~ two way tie....How Far (by Martina McBride) and Suds In The Bucket (by Sara Evans)

Anything funny the kid/kiddos did over the weekend??? ~~~ Gosh, Tyler was HILARIOUS on the way to Six Flags. J and I were NOT pumped up like we usually are (or like *I* usually am) for that kind of thing. On the way from the parking lot to the entrance, Tyler kept getting in our faces excited and saying "are you IN the ZONE???" What does this mean? I don't know, but I don't think I was there. LOL He says the funniest things sometimes. It was fun to see him so jazzed up though.

OH, and after we started to get rained out (after we'd ridden EVERY single ride in the park except for the crappy spinning tea cup things) Tyler's mood plummetted. He said "this is SUCH a bad disappointing day!" As though we'd done NOTHING fun. Child of extremes! He bounced back instantly when the sun came back out

HAPPY TUESDAY!

What did you do on Saturday morning?

Cooked the kiddos breakfast and played outside on the swing set.

What did you do on Sunday evening?

Cooked a REALLY great dinner of tri-tip, roasted potatos, fresh green beans - and had fresh strawberry shortcake (homemade! I even made a homemade angel food cake! - Watch out Betty Crocker! LOL) for dessert. Bathed the kiddos, read with Jojo for an hour, got them to bed, and then packed TT for his business trip this week.

What was the best thing you ate all weekend?

Dinner on Sunday night!!!!!!

What's your favorite song right now?

A country song called I Miss Mayberry - and I have no idea who sings it - but I LOVE IT!

Anything funny the kid/kiddos did over the weekend???

Alex has become completely and totally obsessed with "bee-bows!" (Bubbles!) He didn't want to nap on Sunday, and we told him as soon as he woke up we would go outside and blow bubbles. He woke up, walked up the stairs, and greeted us with "bee-bows! bee-bows! Wan bee-bows!" TOO CUTE! AND - Jojo and I watched Return of the Jedi for his first time ever. He LOVED it! Maybe THIS will get him off the Yugioh craze!

Hey, JoJo watched a Star Wars movie! AWESOME. Glad he liked it, and hopefully he will get off that other lame stuff. LOL

I Miss Mayberry. By Rascal Flatts. One of Ty's favorites...but then, he likes EVERY country song. Knows every word to every song on the radio. Even the ones he's not supposed to sing (ie. I Love This Bar and other "drinking songs")

Ty and I have something in common! I know every word to "I Love This Bar" too! ROTFLMAO!

My niece's fav. song when she was little was "Baby Got Back". She was about 3, and she used to turn around and rub her little tush and sing "BABY GOT BACK! LA jeans with toasted boobies!" Um - it's open bootie - but whatever! Jojo's, for a very long time, thanks to his dad, was "BIG PIMPIN' . . . SPEND THE CHEESE!" Ugh. Country is MUCH safer!!!!!!! Jojo likes that song "What Was I Thinkin" and the line about the little white tank top sittin' in the middle by me . . .

I want an ice cold cherry coke!

He LOVED Return of the Jedi. I wanted him to see Star Wars and Empire Strikes back first . . but they were out of it. I hadn't seen it in AGES - and forgot how much I LOVE the Ewoks! LOL

Hi

I'm late, can I still play? ;)

What did you do on Saturday morning?

Well, I got up early and went to the church I have G.S. at to check on my girls who had stayed over for a sleepover with another leader since I had Connor at home. And then I took the kids to Six Flags for my company picnic which was a hellish experience, I'm sorry to say. I usually love Six Flags but not this time. It took us way too long to get there, sat in traffic for 2 hours and Connor would not go on any rides so it wasn't much fun for me as I had to stand there with him while Catrice went on rides. Big waste of time.

What did you do on Sunday evening? Hmmmm, oh yea, Girl Scout Roller Skating Party. Yes, I'm living the life.

What was the best thing you ate all weekend? I couldn't tell you. I wasn't feeling good, so I didn't eat much.

What's your favorite song right now? I really like "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5.

Anything funny the kid/kiddos did over the weekend??? It was not a banner weekend for my kids behavior wise this weekend I have to say. Catrice did win my sister a stuffed pig at Six Flags. She purposely had to play this game to win Auntie a stuffed pig because my sister likes pigs. And she gave a monkey she won to her brother which was really sweet.

I Love This Bar is a FAVORITE in our house. Especially for Jas, but I just hate hearing my cute 10 year old singing it. He always gets a frown from me. LOL

The songs that kill me are the ones on Ty's "Jock Jam's" CD. Remember "Tootsie Roll" I hear Ty singing with attitude "Cotton candy, sweet and low, let me see that TOOTSIE ROLL" ROTFL!!!!

Awww. Bummer that your six flags experience wasn't good. I went to the crappiest one in the country, but we ALL rode almost everything for the first time ever (because Ty is finally tall enough. LOL) so it was our best experience. I am sorry your's wasn't good.

GIRL, you need to get OUT for you and away from kid events. LOL! Did YOU roller skate? Do you know how long it's been since I have? I don't. I can't even remember!

What did you do on Saturday morning?

Put up the hurricane shutters, then worked frantically to get out a big order for my biz.

What did you do on Sunday evening?

Started working on our scrapbooks - I am 5 years behind with photos.

What was the best thing you ate all weekend?

Home made brownie

What's your favorite song right now?

Not sure - I like so many!! I have been listening to the VAST Nude album - big big music - great stuff - a bit like U2

Anything funny the kid/kiddos did over the weekend???

Well it wasn't that funny but it was - he made a big huge cup of milk and then wooooosh - all over the kitchen 3 doors and 2 walls. I said, "don't move!!" and cleaned it up. I tried not to be annoyed - it is so lucky to have a little active boy to spill milk - better than not I said.

I know, I am going out this Friday with the girls from work and we have a wedding in two weeks to attend so that'll be fun. I guess I'd rather spend the time with the kids and when you're the GS leader, you have to go to these events.

;)

No I didn't rollerskate. I can't, never could. I was in charge of the event so I mostly collected money and made sure everything was okay. Much, much safer that way! ;)

I look forward to when my kids are older and we can go ride all the big rides. Though, I'm afriad of the roller coasters! :)
