I've been emailing the funniest guy ever this past week. He asked me out tonight. Yee haw! I just told him he better be as funny in person as he is in writing...no pressure!!!
He has two daughters, one a year younger than mine, one a year older. Maybe this one will get the "You're not meeting my girl until..." discussion, if it ever comes to that!
Summer Romance man is fading as fast as my tan.

Interesting evening...He asked me out, was pretty good about letting me pick the place, showed up on time, clean, kind of cute.
Sparks? Not sure. This is weird for me. Summer guy had me shaking in my boots with lust by the end of the first date. Sadly, that has ALWAYS been the case for me...I guess I kind of decided that crazy lust equaled my really liking someone. Somehow, this strategy has always bitten me in the butt!
This guy is nice to look at, makes great conversation, very smart. Date began at 7:30, and before I knew it, it was 11 (the waiter must have hated us). I was laughing most of the time. Little negativity towards the ex. True joint custody of his daughters, who are the same age as mine, he was appalled that my ex hasn't seen the kids since June.
Ending, walked to cars. Very awkward pauses in conversation, which didn't happen at dinner. It seemed like he kept leaning towards me, but I kind of kept leaning back...He started to seem really shy, so I don't know where this will go. But if he asked me out again, I'd probably go.
Yeah, I can never tell if those awkward moments are going to lead to anything. It just seemed so funny that after nearly four hours of non-stop conversation there was suddenly nothing to say!
On the one hand, I appreciate that he didn't lunge at me, but on the other hand I am disappointed he didn't lunge at me! : )
