My crazy weekend ...

So I said I was going to be out and put myself out there and I did just that. Friday met a couple of girlfriends for some drinks. Although I didn't really meet anyone, we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. Lots of fun and laughing. We had heard there would be a band, and indeed there was. Unfortunately they sang all their songs in spanish. They did bring a latin crowd to the bar but the singer was terrible. We laughed and made up words to the songs.
Saturday met another girlfriend for lunch. We hung out for a couple of hours and she had dinner plans. I stopped and got some take out and watched a movie then met her later for a few drinks. I met several men that night.
Guy #1 we'll call actor guy because he is an actor. He is a bit older but good looking and very fit. He was buying us drinks all night. Asked me to dance (which I love) and we had a very nice time. He said he liked me and I really liked him. He may be too old for a long term R (not that he would want one with me) but I think he would be fun to date. He has my number so I will see if he calls. I hope he does. He is fun and very much a gentleman which I liked.
Guy #2 has been around forever, he is my bartender. He had changed jobs and I hadn't seen him for awhile. He was there on Saturday and very friendly. Nice to get all the free drinks ;o). I'm not at all interested him as a boyfriend, but he is nice and fun to flirt with. He is way too young for me (25ish) but thinks I'm incredibly attractive and I really enjoy the attention.
Guy #3 I have run into off and on and he has seem interested in me from time to time but he has never asked me out well call him, RE since he appraises RE for a living. I had a very nice conversation with him. He had been drinking a bit and I had never seen him like that before. He said we have this great flirt going on. I said "yea". He said that he thought I was really attractive. I said that I thought he must be shy because of all the times I had seen him this was the most forward he had been. He then asked me if I thought he only thought I was attractive because he had been drinking? My response "I know I"m attractive I just think you were too shy to say anything before" Any how he asked for my number. We'll see if he calls or if he loses his nerve once the beer wears off.
I would really like to hear from Actor. I think he would be fun. We shall see if I hear from anyone. In any event I had a great time and lots of fun. Soccer practice is in full spring starting this week so I will be out and about much more.

Brava for getting out there! It sounds like you had a lot of fun.
I really like your reply to RE- it shows confidence but not cockiness. Actor guy sounds like fun- do keep us posted!
Moody, who loves the updates

I did have a blast. I got NO numbers. I don't call men unless we are actually in a relationship as a general rule. I know they will call me and ask me out if they are truly interested in me. I had fun and if they don't call that will be fine with me. I will probably run into all of them again some time.
I had the most fun out that I have had in quite some time. Yippee!!!!
Priscilla
Thanks Moody. It was fun and although I don't think I'm the most gorgeous woman on the planet I know I'm attractive (and have a great rack LOL). I'm not going to fain unawareness of my looks. That would be silly.
Priscilla enjoying getting out there again.
Nice rack?!! Ooooooooo. Now I'm curious on what you look like Priscilla....
Speaking of nice racks, I was treated to a great whitewater rafting day trip by a friend. Part of the group was this woman who flashed another raft, so I got the side benefit by sitting next to her on the raft. Certainly put her in a different light in how I think of her *grin*
This weekend I did not really flirt but I did enjoy the new people I met (like that flasher woman) and the experiences (rafting and a dinner party).
Mark who is an appreciator of nice racks and other parts of a woman's body (mind, and soul)
DUH! You are so right and I'm a total doofus! I meant to say you gave out your number, not you got a number. I used the sentence in that "terminology" to mean they have yours. Ya know?
I also don't think I have EVER gotten someone's number before. Except maybe a business card, but I have never called it. I am VERY old school. Probably one of the main reasons I am still single. LOL. Too many men don't know what that is anymore.
It's Monday, I'm a little tired with almost no sleep last night. Alex was too excited about her first day of school to go to sleep. We were up talking until 2am and then woke up at 6am. UGH! I definitely feel it today.
That is a very productive weekend!!
"Although I didn't really meet anyone, we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves." It is great that you are getting out - I think that is half the battle - to get out and not feel secluded.
I hope that the actor calls you!!
Are these people you can go out with all the time? I hope so!!
How much older you think the guy #1 is? Is it a dealbreaker for you if he is 10 or 15 yrs older?
Sounds like you had a blast.
We used to go out more often. With summer schedules it has been more difficult to get together. We had a great time.
I hope he calls too. Could be fun.
Priscilla
He is most definitely more than 10 years older than me. Possibly more than 15. I don't know. I don't have to marry him. A couple of dates is fine.
For long term potential if you start talking about 20+ years that could be a problem. Even a fit and active 80yo is still old compared with an active 60yo. I have noticed it some in people I know. But I'm really not all that concerned with the age of a date. But he is a pretty good dancer and it wouldn't even be a worry if we went out a couple of times and didn't really hit it off. I'm not going to project that far into the future. Right now some dating would be good.
I had a great time and I enjoy dating.
