My eharmony hilarity

Okay girls - 200 are in the trash. LOL!! But seriously - they are there because I am picky and found something major - like one who I saw on match who lied about his age, another I was able to google and determine he has only been divorced for 4 months (who is a pyschologist and indicates he wants someone emotionally healthy - imagine THAT! LOL!!) and on and on.
And I am having fun by myself. Generally not in a rush - just want to be proactive to get out there and look - especially when I see the lack of men in my age group in a bar and generally don't like the bar scene except to go out with my alumni friends.
I have a date coming up with MtEverest this weekend - we will go kayaking. He is away on a business trip after taking his son camping and I employed a bit of humor in our text messages. He is in Nevada right now - so I said if you win money in Vegas you can take me to Mt. Lemmon for dinner. He said what is that? I said, a mountain! He says you are very funny I know that - but where? So I said - Tucson - 10K feet - have done that one without oxygen. Okay so I have a sense of humor and he likes that - says he would love to see me this weekend.
And one guy wrote with the most hilarious intro I have ever heard - he says "do you mind if I am from the witness protection program?" (he is kidding - that must be lawyer humor) and to that I replied, oh WOW - witness protection program -we have THAT in common! LOL!! - and then I answered his questions which were rather serious but about me so that is okay. I said I love my life it is happy and I am good at keeping it that way.
I find the guys on eharmony to be rather serious about wanting to find the one and that is refreshing.
There are a couple more writing - but nothing to report yet - one is kind of cute and the other one may be too short - he is 1 inch shorter than me and that gives me the heebie jeebies but I am trying to keep an open mind.
Otherwise the day is going well - I creamed the guys in the pool on our 100s with the kickboard. The big dog almost threw up on the rug and so I did the big dash to save it. Score!! Work is getting done around here so that is good too.

Holy Cow!
"Oh, it's slightly worse, Psychoboy sent D3 in the helicopter with OW. He went in the next trip. It just pisses me off that he acts like OW is D3's mother.Perhaps the rescue team took women and small kids first."
I bet that is what they did... took women and children first. But what they didn't know- was they really should've just left Psychoboy out there and not gone back for him. LOL
hehe
~shrimpy, who can't believe that info wasn't passed along

LOL, yeah he could have waited til the water subsided. No point in wasting federal funds on making his day more exciting. But then D3 would have been scared and upset. I really would have preferred he spoke up and said he was her dad, her mom wasn't there and so he needed to stay with her. She is just 3. But I know what I prefer doesn't count. Of course, if M and I had been hiking with D3 and had to get rescued I would never had heard the end of how irresponsible I was from Psychboy. Sigh, I just let it all go. D3 is fine and that is what matters.

LOL, D3 just mentioned to me today that when she was rescued she rode in the lap of the rescue guy with his arms securely around her and "his best friend drove the helicopter" So I do believe it was the rescue protocol to get her out first and then leave her in the care of whatever adults were available (OW) while they went back for her dad, who could be expected to wait without getting into trouble at the site of the flood. D3 really did have fun, totally unaware of the danger.
So back to Judy, see even when it seems totally safe, (they were on the road that the tram takes and the river had totally overflowed the bridges) you can get into some extreme situations. Might be nice to have a guy like Mt Everest along who would handle such things in stride. No overturning the kayak now.

Thanks, Moon. The trash count is officially over 200. And I am talking to 2, including MtEverest. The Photographer likes to hike and take beautiful pix.
Right now I am out for the count from a bike crash - that should put a damper on the outfits - can't wear anything with any kind of a sleeve and have the ugliest road rash - LOL!!
