He sounds good, and answers well! The only thing that wouldn't "gel" with me is that he is looking into brewing his own beer. I'm just not a big beer fan, but I know everyone has their own hobbies! Hiker likes beer; I can take it or leave it- but I'm not sure if he would ever try brewing his own. Maybe for this guy, it would be more like a science experiment thing (which I love, the geek I am) rather than an alcoholic thing, KWIM?
Anyway, here are my answers to the questions too- though I'm sure they are different now than they were when I actually filled this out on eHarmony years ago...
Aye - I didn't realize we were supposed to share - would love to hear feedback on mine of course:
1. What are you most passionate about? I can be passionate about many things. Right now I am passionate about my son's school volleyball team - they are on a winning streak and it is a lot of fun to watch and cheer them on.
2. What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful? health family business
3. Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why? My maternal grandfather taught me a lot of good lessons about life - about patience and knowing what is important and what is not. His favorite saying was, "100 years from now, that won't matter anymore."
4. The 4 things your friends say about you: # Respectful # Sweet # Intelligent # Physically Fit
5. Three best life skills: # Keeping physically fit # Cooking for my family and friends # Being a good friend and companion
6. What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person? My ideal match is someone who enjoys an active lifestyle.
7. Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you? My wit and good sense of humor.
8. What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD? I love chocolate and cookies. :-)
9. How do you typically spend your leisure time? Leisure time is usually spent relaxing, getting stuff done around the house, being with friends, walking my dogs, listening to music, exercising.
10. What are five things that you "can't live without?"
a.Water b.Food c.Communication d.Laughter e.Love
11. Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it? From Good to Great was an excellent book that explores the common denominators of very successful organizations. I learned a lot from it that I can apply to business and every day life.
12. Describe one thing about yourself that only your best friends know. My best friends know that they can count on me.
13. Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you? I like to go out although I am not a big party animal. Music, shows, movies, and also staying in to cook - is all good - especially when you have a special someone to share it with. I love being active outdoors, and right now this includes running, swimming and riding my bike.
