Ok, so it's been almost two weeks since I broke up with Nascar. A tough two weeks. At first I didn't miss him, because I was so angry, but as time goes by, I really miss him. It really sucks, because I know no matter how much I miss him, it doesn't change the fact that we just didn't fit with the whole kids thing. I could have somehow maybe have learned to deal with the other

Ah nothing like a puppy for cuteness.
I think you are smart not to fall for "Mr. History's" line.

I ended up with a guy 8 years younger. And if you had told me that was going to happen I would have smacked you on the head...Our story started out with so many random meetings and quirky funny conversations with nobody making a move for weeks but both of us talking to everyone we knew about it. I never knew his age until the first date and by then there was such massive anticipation it didnt seem like anything could really shock me. But I honestly didnt think he was going to say 24 - shocking. He is 26 now and I dont see any difference between us and never really did because we have similar experiences I guess and have faced similar challenges. Anyhow, I say go younger! The ones in their twenties dont have the same commitment problems and havent given up on the idea of having kids( in general IMO of course) - as long as they have a career plan and are striving toward something (i.e. not just playing xbox and texting their buddies all day lol) I think younger guys can be a great choice.
I work with my BF (he's 10 years older than me) and I can see your point.
You and Loonybunny are two peas in a pod with your attraction to younger men LOL!!!
Good for you for stepping outside your original comfort zone and dating a younger man.
on the age subject - slightly OT, but can you believe that Mr Spain

I ALWAYS went with older men and had good relationships ( though they didnt work out, I dont think it was age related) with them - mostly like I said 7-10 years older. This one came as a huge surprise actually but I just went with the flow in the beginning and fell in love. I would have never thought I would end up with someone younger but I guess you're right - it was good of me to step outside my dating box. Thank goodness I did!!
