need to take my own advice

So i'm feeling that Meetup Hottie isn't interested in me.. feeling bummed today about it for some reason.. I think it's the let down from the excitement of meeting him the other Saturday. I missed bowling last night and from what i can tell from the meetup website... MHottie was there. He posted a greeting to someone about a good tasting drink or something... And my own advice was that if he's interested he would pursue... so far, no signs of him pursuing me.... I could squeeze some once of hope but i'd be kidding myself. For example, at Friday night's meetup I showed up late and a friend of mine said he asked about me. I was hopeful when she said that, but as the night went on, he didn't talk to me much... and that as i said, made me get the clue.

Oh well, i'll prob see him at other meetups. He's a new friend regardless.. i'll just try not to drool too obviously. Oh, and i found out he has a twin brother, too... but his brother doesn't live around here.

Tonight i'm foregoing a meetup and instead checking out the new place that has the game "Rock Band".... a coworker is planning to join me so at least i won't be alone....

I was thinking - the karaoke is at least a fun activity that you enjoy - but maybe you should try to talk to the older ones too - give them a chance!! Because I was thinking that an older guy, that really wants a relationship, who is possibly a little artsy, would really appreciate you - because you are lively and artsy and you do have such a carefree attitude and tend not to sweat the little stuff - we all remember the part about the purse.

Meanwhile, keep brainstorming for more ways to find one of those older artsy types who will just adore you!!

I guess I am being "age biased" because I have seen all of those younger guys and they are out for game - and they can get a much younger one. I can understand that it is fun when they show interest - I do - but I think an older one would be good. Also, an older one might be a little shy so maybe keep that in mind to engage him with smiles and conversation?

I feel like your big Aunt Westie - always hounding you - but I do like you and want to see you get one and just thought if I was you - I would want someone to point that out about the age. To find an older one that is more settled - with more to offer you!!

Okay - now I see. For some reason I thought you were looking for a relationship/boyfriend/something more serious. Because I remember that you wanted more with Sean and the last one and then you were saying you liked the nice dinners for work - maybe it was a subtle thing I picked up on?

"We love you loony! Everyone wants you to have just what makes you happy. And if a young stud muffin floats your boat than be it..lol!!!"

LOL!!

But let me tell you after being in my 40s and looking at guys in their 40s - they LOVE women in their 30s - that is why I am with one in his 50s - because he adores me since I am in my 40s. And I am sure that one in his 40s would dearly love a fling with wild LOONY!! Although I can see your point that a guy in his 40s could never be as much of a fun stud muffin as some of the hotties you have talked about - and the last one's pic.

Okay - I promise I will try not to be Auntie Westie and hound you about the bar stuff - it just bothered me that we were probably all thinking - what is she doing - and no one said anything - but we will now consider you clued in and making a different decision - which is entirely up to you to make of course and we are always here no matter what someone decides you know that. No worries!!

I was under the same impression, that Loony was looking for something more serious...

okay... pic of hottie1... like i said, i hope he doesn't catch me drooling at him.. and that i successfully put him in the friend category. (and by that i mean, act normally ... well, normal for Loony... which is crazy. LOL) AND the joke is that he's sooo much taller than me, that you can only see the top of my head.
