Hello all. I just felt I should get a few takes on what I am doing. okay! I had decided that I would stay home with my baby once I have her and not return to work b/c for one its been so long since I had a baby I know I will be super attached, for two it seems so common to hear stories on the news about daycares who get closed b/c of mistreatment of children, leaving kids in the car while hot, diaper rashes b/c they don't change them on time. I know this all could happen anywhere, at any time but I know for sure it would not happen on my watch-so I chose to stay home. The FOB and I were at an understanding about me staying home b/c he wanted the same for his first child

First of all, I think you are right in seeking SOMETHING to make your own money--I do not think I could survive

First of all give yourself acknowledgment how self sufficient you are and that you want to be a good mother.

Second perhaps part time work with child support may be a good middle road to take?

Take care,
Mark

All of you have great suggestions and advice. If I was not so caught up in myself I should know it will all work out but I guess that fear took control for a while.

I forgot all about subsidized daycare. I thought I had to wait until the baby was born to set up childsupport. I will look into all I need to. Today after posting the discussion I went and talked to my HR manager who gave me a number to call for counseling. I told her my hold-ups as far as feeling needy but she told me that she had used it

Sometimes the good thing about fear is that it pushes us to find new solutions to deal with our problems.

You are carrying a baby and have a six year old that you are responsible for, of course you are going to feel some stress!

Thanks a million!!!! you are right just over the weekend I found avenues I didn't even think about mainly b/c my head was so clouded with my problems. I am so excited about this new addition to my family-I just can hope that everything works out but I know it will b/c I am actively moving on-forward!!
