It is good that you watched the show and you remember. I feel it is important to appreciate all of the servicemen both in our country and abroad.

I will probably not bring up the 9/11 event with my son. We do discuss the news on an ongoing basis and right now we are worried about the second hurricane in two weeks here in FL. But we did discuss 9/11 during the time that it was going on.

I had meant to watch that kind of a special myself, Tara. We have a DVD that someone gave us chronicling (sp?) the whole thing, and we've never opened it. I thought maybe I could handle it, but the day got away from me.

At church yesterday we spoke of it briefly, asked all of the local police enforcement/firemen and other public service employees to stand and they got an ovation. But then we had a moment of silence. That was odd to me. TO ME personally moment's of silence are for a recent happeneing. A sign of group "mourning" and I feel like it's been a little long ago for that. But I am certain those who lost loved ones in the attacks don't feel that way. I am always torn between overdoing a topic and dredging up bad feelings and thinking it's still the appropriate thing to do.

I know that probably didn't make sense. But it was definitely on my mind.
