Happy Holidays to everyone!! I;m new to this board...I've been on iVillage before, but with college and my son, it's hard to find time to get on here.
I'm 23, and have recently began dating this guy who has a 3 year old son. He's been married before, but his ex-wife cheated on him, so they divorced. It's a little scary for both of us to begin a new relationship (I was really hurt by my son's father), but we're going for it. We live about 90 miles apart, so seeing each other is difficult. It involves a lot of driving. What I came here searching for is ideas for dates. We usually spend a good deal of the day together (sometimes with the kids, sometimes without) since we can't see each other as often as we'd like. I do go to school in the same city he lives in, so once spring semester begins, hopefully I'll be seeing him more often. He's a sweet guy and would drive here to see me all the time if I wanted him to, but I like to take turns. He's a hopeless romantic which I am NOT used to...I'm really not used to nice guys since I have been attracted (unfortunately) to the bad boys. I hardly know how to take it all in. But, I do enjoy every minute I am with him and I am getting used to being treated like a princess!
Have fun with your families this holiday season! And get back to me with any tips you may have for fun dates!!

Hi and welcome - glad to have you here.
Do you have any fun outdoor things to do in your area or in the places you meet? I guess that depends on the weather.
Some other ideas include meals, picnics, movies, the mall, bookstores or music place and of course kiddie places like parks or those game/pizza type places.
Keep us posted and good luck!!
Hello, and welcome!
