Hi everyone!
I'm new to this board, and thought I should post an introduction. I'm a 24 yr old solo mom to my gorgeous, brilliant, adorable little girl named Lissa, who'll be 4 in December. (Can you tell I'm proud? hehe.. )
My daughter's father and I are civil to each other. We were never married, and separated before my daughter was born. We settled custody, child support and access before she was a year old, so all that messiness is out of the way. I have sole legal and residential custody, he has alternate weekend access, and access with 24 hours notice, if it works with our schedules (either by mine or his request). He pays child support monthly, on time, and without me asking, thank God! So far so good, and no major issues there.. and yes, I realize I am very blessed that way!
I am currently in a relationship with a good guy. We have been dating for over a year now, and recently moved in together. He adores my daughter, and she loves him. We're thinking about getting engaged soon, so I'll keep you posted.
I currently work from home part time, hold down another part time job, and homeschool my daughter. I'm looking at going back to school in the near future though. I've got a few unusual ideas about parenting, but I'll try not to offend anyone, lol.
I have lots of stories about past dating experiences (oh the horrors! lol!) that I'll be glad to share as the occasion arises. Can't wait to get to know you all.

Hello Sarah,
Your post is very nice indeed - so glad to have you - love the term "solo mom" - very good!!
Can't WAIT to hear your dating horrors - we all amuse each other here and form a great support group that we are all not individually experiencing these on our own - that there is nothing wrong with us for having them. So please do post more of them here.
We also have another homeschooler on our board so you have great company with that as well.
Sounds like you have it all together and we do want to hear more - the more the merrier here!!
Tell us about your bf too - how you met and about him!! It gives us all hope for the ones who are looking, me and the other CL Alison included!!
