The next date is planned

Okay.
We have been brainstorming about what to do for our date on Saturday. He says he wants to make it an official old fashioned first date.
So, he is driving to pick me up and then we are going to the beach (which isn't that far from his house - so it is a lot of extra driving for him). And then we are going to dinner on the beach to a new place. And then to dance.
I feel like I am in HS again!!

Happy dancin for ya!
I love it when a guy takes charge and plans the whole thing instead of them asking what you want to do.
Haha- well, he's a blast from the past, that's for sure!
So the big question is: "but what will you wear????"
That sounds like a great time.
Can already see cl_west
It is such a simple thing, I am a total sucker for the "real date" thing. Enjoy it, shows that he really has romantic intentions- seriously into you. Now why do guys stop doing that after the first couple months? It's such an easy way to make your gal ever so happy with you.
QB who cuts M way too much slack on this issue.
That is interesting what you say and so true. But I think you graduate from one stage to another. There is the giddy initial stage where you want to impress each other. But then there is the stage where you click and trust each other more and start to share more with each other - and I guess that brings about the comfort level you speak about.
I did manage to get out of the house last night to grab a quick bite to eat with him. And we had a great talk about relationships and what we want and how we want a good friendship to develop before intimacy. And I like that a lot. He says he really wants a woman to be his best friend and not a notch in his belt. And that meant a lot to me.
What is that now 2 dates before the "official" date? hee hee
I'm just giddy for you! This one may actually have some potential.
Sharon (who likes the giddy stage)
I'm so glad things are going well for you and Mr. Alumni!!! So how ARE these things going so well when you haven't even GONE ON A DATE YET?!? lol
Dang girl- admit it, you've already dated him TWICE now! When will you consider it a date? Once he dips you down and plants that good ol' kiss on you?? ;-)
