(thank God for the FRAZZELED icon)

OMG. I am SO overwhelmed right now. Off the top of my head ...

Today - I worked overnite last nite. Need to sleep soon. Just sent Ave off to school in tears saying "I wish you were like other mommys who dont fight with their kids" ... AND she asked me to "Call Mrs. King (the guidance counselor) so she could see her". I am tired, cranky, stressed & her dilly dallying this AM didnt help. Oh, & when Mike handed me Child support I made a comment about my mortgage going up & he said "Take me back & I can help with it". Yeah, Riiiiiiiiight.

I am freaking out b/c Ave's dance recital is this next Sat. She is in 4 numbers. I knew she needed new Jazz shoes, but the only places to get them are 22 miles 1 way, & 35 miles the other way. I put it off too long. In the MEANTIME, she lost her 1 month old new tap shoes & we need to replace those as well. There is a recital practice Tues nite, & I thought i could get the shoes at one of the places today, after I sleep & she gets home from school. But NO ... they are all closed! So, that means i will have to take her after school tomorrow, b4 rehersal, so that means no sleep for me b4 i work a 13 hr overnite Tues nite.
Plus, each pair of shoes is about $42! Ugh.

My mortgage just went up $169 a month b/c of taxes, I am STILL pissed about that.

So i work overnite this week, Sun, Tues & Wed. 13 hrs each. & need to sleep b4 & after the shifts at some point.

I have renters coming in on Friday ... & her recital Sat nite. I leave on a plane at 4:30 AM for FLA (for a nursing conference) on Sun Am. AND, my renters leave that nite, & new ones come in on the next Fri, b4 I am back from FLA. That means my cleaning lady has to turn the rental over in b/w parties. & she never did it alone b4. Its stressing me OUT.

Lets see, what else? On Sat Am, I need to drop the dogs at the sitters (which reminds me, I need to cancell the tentative booking i did for another kennel) who lives 30 miles away. & drive back into town with all the tourists coming in Sat AM, in time to get Ave 20 miles the OTHER way, to her recital on time. Ave has recital practice tues, & then full dress & make up on Thurs. I will be dead tired that nite b.c i work the nite b4, but have to be at her school at 10:30 for the teachers retirement party, then Ave gets out of school at 11 & then its rehersal that nite. & on friday I am supposed to be going on a 1st date ... I will be a lunatic by then.

I need to get the house ready for rental, the shoes bought, i need to have myself all packed & ready for FLA AND have a bag for Ave for 3 seperate overnites (her dads, a 2 different friends) for the people watching her while I am away. Then my dad comes to town next Tues, stays here with her, & brings her to meet me i FLA - so i need all her FLA stuff & flight stuff packed & ready as well.

My lawn needs to be mowed BIG time. NO time to do it :( I still havent arrnaged a cat sitter for while Im away. I have to get to the Water dept to pay the bill b/c i have a shut off notice for 48 hrs from now. Cant have renters with no WATER. Hello!?!

I need to get dog food & all their meds, & get that organized for the dog sitter. I need to get my OWN scripts filled so i have them for my trip. I need to get my A/c's in the windows b/c hte renters expect a/c.

... I am not even sure what else - i just want to curl up & wake up 2 weeks from now, when its all O-V-E-R.

Can't your X take some of the driving burden off of you? Or do you have any other support group that can pitch in a little to help you? I'm so sorry you feel so overwhelmed, I know exactly how you feel. When it rains it pours.

OMG - that to-do list would make anyone dizzy. You work so hard, too. I wish we could all pitch in and help you!!

I wonder if you could get the shoes online? Sometime they have better deals and the shipping is the same as the tax? Maybe ebay?

And yes, hopefully your exh could do SOMETHING. I almost died when I read his response - if you take me back I will help. Yeah, right, buddy!! OMG. You poor thing!! That must be everyone's nightmare to hear that.

HUGS! You are usually always so funny with your posts - we hate to see you this way!

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Hello! You obviously think I was married to someone with a heart. Puuullleeez. In 2.5 yrs of visitation, he has never EVER (ok, actually once, & he made her walk from the corner) done a pick up or drop off. I drive her & pick her up EVERY SINGLE TIME she sees him, to & from his house. Why? B/c he wont "come near this house". He is still angry, & hurt i suppose & cant handle seeing the house, yard, etc. I can somewhat understand it i guess, & mostly though, as much of a PIA it IS for me, its WAY WAY better than having the lunatic ever on my property! :)

So ... asking HIM for a favor ... he thrives on the power of being able to say "See? you think you can do it all alone, well, you cant. Too bad, should have thought about that b4 you kicked me out"

Thanks Girls - i feel somewhat better.

Lawn Boy (who i hated to ASK, since he does so much) called me this AM to say hello, & i whined to him ... & when i came home today, WALLAH! Front AND back yard totally mowed & he also said he will come on Thurs to put the A/C's in & then take me out to dinner after Ave's recital practice. Sounds good to ME! (maybe he wants to SEE JESUS!) ;)

I took a friends word for it & called in the troops - although there arent many. X is no help at all - not even worth giving him the satisfaction of asking for help. & my good friend who helps me out just had her fiance break their engagement, wedding was Nov 2nd, so she is a mess. & all my family is too far away. BUT, i called my MIL & she immedietly offered to take Ave after school tues, get the shoes (although she didnt offer to PAY, lol), & get her to practice, so i can SLEEP b4 work Tues nite, & best? Her dance teacher called - THEY FOUND AVE'S TAP SHOES! Whoo hoo! Thats about a $45 savings. Now we just need the jazz boots & were done. & MIL will sew the parts on Aves costume too ... Phew.

I wish i could find them cheap, especially b/c this dance studio requires the more expensive stuff than most AND rare ... you can find BLACK tap shoes a dime a dozen on Ebay & consignment, but rarely the tan leather ones with straps.

Tonite i got thru some summer clothes in an attempt to begin packing for the trip (its to Disney, btw, for someone who asked) ... but i cant totally pack, b/c i only slept 3 hrs after work today & I cant keep my eyes open at this point!

Anyway - i am feeling better. Thanks so much!

You are so lucky to have lawn boy!!! What a peach.

Your post really hit home with me because my life with my kids in not normal according to them. I work 12 hour shifts and they are with their dad half the time and we're constantly frazzled at my house. Chaos constantly! So I understand your situation perfectly.

I guess an older man wouldn't be what you want if you are planning on having more babies. I can certainly understand that. Personally I have had the best luck with older men, they seem more settled. Once they are past 45 they are out of the mid-life crisis thing (hopefully ;) )
