Have fun on the playdate! I'm sure your DD will be okay with having to "share" you once y'all are all out there- and she DOES have fun with another kid around. :-)
We might end up with a busy weekend here ourselves... planning to take the kids to go see Shrek the Third tomorrow after they get out of school (half day, LAST day of school!) and then on Saturday we might go bowling. I owe MonkeyBunny a trip to the bowling alley for have a warning-free week at school a couple of weeks ago.
Saturday evening, I might have a date with Hiker. The Spurs play again that evening, so we might watch it together. :-) Not sure if we'll do anything else during the weekend; we'll probably play it by ear.
It's a long weekend for most, but for us, it's just the start of summer. Memorial Day will just be another summer day because school will already be done for the kids, and work for me has been done for a couple of weeks already anyway. Yay for summer and road trips!! I'm looking forward to it!
Hi Liz! I think it's awesome! It's in a great relaxing mode and you do feel like you have to impress. Your DD may be a little jelly belly, but I think she'll be great once she realizes mom won't go on all the rides all the time as her playmate will.

This does sound like fun- and not trying to impress anyone and just being comfortable with yourself is sure to impress someone!
I'm sure your daughter will have fun, even with the company, because you'll be giving off fun vibes, and just acting naturally.
Have a blast!
Moody, wishing it were going to be warm enough here for water fun

I'm glad you can do stuff with him, and I hope he turns into a good friend and activity partner!
