Ok- you guys remember Ben= the navy guy who was leaving at the end of the summer who was uneasy about me dating other guys when I was dating him so he decided he wanted to be "just friends".

Well, I may be rethinking the friends bit- no, not to redate him, but to quietly fade into the background and disappear.

I think he likes you too much to be friends. If I was you I would end all contact - just say we are not a match and I don't think we should see each other anymore.

I am about to do that with a text message to someone......

It sounds like he still has hope that you will change your mind and want to date him. He has gone beyond clingy and is now slightly spooky and annoying. It would definitely be better for you both if you told him politely that you don't want to see him any more. You don't need a policeman, and he could turn the page and get on with his life.

Good luck!

Well, I guess my question for you would be- do you accept and expect this treatment from your friends?

My guess is that your friends want you to be happy and while they're interested in your life, it isn't the only thing they have going on, and they don't badger you with intrusive questions.

I think keeping this one on block is probably not a bad idea.

He isn't behaving like a friend would, he's behaving like a rejected lover would, and that's not what he is.

Moody, would would be blocking this guy for quite some time

he sounds a bit creepy to me. I'd distance myself as much as possible.
