Yes - I remember the situation with M. It was clear that he was not over her and how she cheated on him. Plus he wanted you to go to all of the games and would not make time for you - I remember he wanted to go to games that were not even for his kids.
I guess you have to use your inner voice - if you feel this one is too much then say "NEXT" - LOL!! That is always easy. But if you are not sure and they seem nice, what is a few casual dates to see a little more? I think the situation with JS was okay - too bad you didn't like him - but that is how it goes, eh? LOL!!

Thank you so much for your thoughts. I think when I wrote what I wrote,:"I just find that you might as well be married if you are so involved in your X's life with raising the kids. It's like being married but only living in separate houses. "
I can under stand how wrong that sounded, but in the few instances where I dated a father who had the X in his life, there were no boundaries. Especially the one from last summer.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Your post about how she was loved is very touching. I am glad she had that kind of love in her life. The two of them sounded very happy.
Hugs
Thanks for seeing how different ways can work for different people with shared custody.
