I think your enlightenment is good.

Do you think he would respond kindly to just a little direction - "maybe you can get your mom's chores done a little early so we can have more time on Saturdays"? I am wondering if he has done that for so long that he doesn't realize the impact it has? And maybe you can mention his outburst the other night - that you have been thinking and .....

The engineer is a real dope.

I love your post this morning, SoccerM!

Everything rings true and is electric with positive energy. You have a confidance and spirit that gets you through sailing, and a sense of yourself that I really respect and admire. You are one tough cookie...and I love that "who you are" shines through and that you are not about to settle. Why should you? So give this some time- and think about if GPS is or is not right for you. Who knows...he could be Mr Right Now.

Just wanted to give your post an applause this morning, it resonates with confidance and strength! That's what we are all about as single parents... and you're doin' it so well :o)

Okay - good - keep us posted! I just had that thought - that maybe he has always done that and doesn't understand he has to trim a bit of that time to make time - and maybe it is a good thing he wants to see more of you?
