I love coming here and reading the weekend updates. Everyone has the most interesting things and has been up to a lot of fun!
So I accompanied Blue Eyes to a bowling tournament down in Orange County for the weekend. I KNOW that sounds corny but girls...it was so much FUN!
The hotel was beautiful, super cozy, big bed, gorgeous pool, hot tub, and sauna. We had dinner out with twenty other pro bowlers...and let me tell you they are all a hoot! There was so much laughter and many jokes and ribbing and just all around fun. We stayed up late and socialized with some really nice people who are becoming good friends. BE did not bowl his best, he was disappointed at that but we had fun just being there.
The only bad part was that he was anxious about getting there on time so he woke me up at 4:30 am Saturday morning. I was a bit of a grump to him and anyone until I got me nap and then some coffee. lol!
We drove home last night, listening to music we both love and it felt really good, just getting along so well. I came home, picked up dd (who had a nice weekend with her dad...it was his 40th b-day). I made her pancakes with strawberries for dinner. Yum!
I enjoyed the weekend :o)

I'm so glad you had a fun weekend with BE and the bowlers.
