I would like to submit the following:

"Human males are identical to every other male of every animal species on the planet. They are strongly, even singularly, driven by hormones and the urge to procreate. It is obvious that nature indented it this way.

Given this, what is so hard to accept about this? Is it that humans are supposed to be above this kind of force?

Of course we are supposed to be. I'm not saying we're not animals as well, but evolution has made us different. Our brain capacity is amazing and isn't shared by other animals, our power of speech gives us a means of expression that no other animal shares. We are above many of the things animals are captive to by instinct.

Examples

We don't eat our own feces

We have cultural taboos (not all the same, but we have them and follow them to remain social)

IF men are only penis driven, it's just sad. And I don't believe it's true. If you spend most of your daily life NOT screwing females, I think that only proves the point that human males don't follow their instincts.

Again, I say we may be the most intellectual species but nature has created us as every almost other species on this earth. Except for the birds or something. I mean they are the one's most faithful to one another. Right? They come back every year to mate with each other again, but HELL, if I didn't have to see my mate except for once a year, I'd be fine with having sex with him year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOME birds, not all, not many for that matter. Some mammals mate for life too, and are together 24/7.

But some of us drink our urin. If they said our feces were good for us, you can be damn sure that some of them might be chowing down on some really interesting cassaroles.

do you? Drink your urine? It's a very small, very limited, cultural "custom" that do that as well...it's not instinctual.

No, but it's said to be VERY healthy and more and more people do it! I don't, but I also don't like getting the golden shower, if you know what I mean.

Well, they're not extinct...maybe you should cloud your mind with some facts. :)

You're arguing with a masters level student in anthropology (the study of humans and their cultures)/ archaeology (the study of past human cultures) student. So I do know what I think about this kind of issue.

I'm not saying we don't WANT to have sex as often as every other animal, and indiscriminately..but the fact remains we DON'T do it. We modify our behavior according to what we think, and what our culture teaches us.

I've never heard that it's healthy.

More and more people are smoking too...I'm not following that crowd.

Anyway, I'm going to go practice karate (which I don't like, it hurts, but I do it for my good) with 20 good looking men (none of whom I will have sex with, it's against dojo rules to date each other).

I'm not trying to be bitchy, this just happens to be my area of expertise and I won't agree if I think the facts don't support the beliefs.

So you can talk about how wrong I am, and I won't interrupt. LOL

g'night y'all.
