UGH - I totally understand how you feel - and that is what you should do when OLD is not giving you what you want. Maybe it will be better after the holidays?

What are you doing to get out more and meet someone in real life? Tis the season!!

I lasted 2 weeks on my last excursion into OLD. LOL! What a waste of time. I am having fun doing things with my friends and working on my side business. Oh well, it is definitely their loss that 2 good women are no longer in cyberspace!

That is an excellent summary of the 2 dating mediums.

I have always said that the goal should be to meet as many people as possible - for real life especially. Trying something new, getting involved in new activities, getting out of the house - those are all good!!

It just takes patience. When you want certain values and relationship philosophies and life goals to match your own - plus location, age and chemistry - it just takes time to find that. Better alone than with the wrong person. If your life is good then you will attract a better quality of person - so why not work on making it great while waiting!!

My last dry spell was 4 years. I know what it is like to go day in and day out without a special person. Each day seems like an eternity and you get in this feeling where you think you will never meet someone. But you do - it just takes time.

Okay,

So, you gave up on OLD. When are you coming to the USA?

I've got a fireplace and a great wine cellar...
