OK i Know I am posting a lot but I just knew you guys would cheer me when you saw I DID IT - I made the piggycakes. It was so good to do something silly. We were hysterical laughing after we put the first one together.
Happy Valentines to everyone!

theres the link again.
Yes, they were a hit ladies. I had rehearsal yesterday so I couldnt attend the party but when I got there the Moms were still laughing and dare I say it, high on sugar.
My son was so funny because he told me as I drove him home that he handed them to the Moms in charge of the cupcake station lol and all of the other cupcakes were just regular cupcakes ( not that there is anything wrong with that but the email I got said to make "funny cupcakes for the cupcake walk"....) and when he stood in line to get a cupcake he asked for a piggy and the Mom in charge said " no, take another one. the piggycakes are the special ones" and he got upset and said "but I MADE those" and put his hand on his hip. He says to me "what was up with that? They were guarding the pigs!" Made me laugh - and oh yes, eventually he got his oink on. It just took some wrangling. Arent people funny?

who peed in her fruit loops....LOL
Wel I have to say that normally the moms that do the class stuff are the ones who are more affluent and stay at home ( yes, I know there are exceptions, sometimes I am one) and I always have gotten this feeling that they just dont know what to do about me. I am obviously a single mom renting a small place and a musician. I frequently feel like they are awkward with me. I honestly dont think she knew WHO had brought those cupcakes. I always do things but I cant always attend and I dont put my name on stuff or make a big deal - I just get the email asking for help and then I try and chip in. I think there are a few ladies over there who have the word snob downpat and my kid doesnt make the cut - he told her though, right? He knew he should have one since we made them and he stuck up for himself. I was proud of him!

AGAIN, I'm in the SAME boat. I rent a small place right now and the houses all around me start at 800 to 3.4 million dollars. YUP! And that's in North Carolina! Where the average house costs 140 thousand. LOL.

My girls parents don't know what to do with me either. I try to do what I can, but sometimes I feel like I'm hurting the girls because I'm the only single parent. All others are stay at home moms, et.

GOOD FOR YOUR SON!!! Glad he got his oink up and got himself a piggy! :)
