OK i Know I am posting a lot but I just knew you guys would cheer me when you saw I DID IT - I made the piggycakes. It was so good to do something silly. We were hysterical laughing after we put the first one together.
Happy Valentines to everyone!

I know why I am. I am a threat. I've been told this several times and kicked out of my apartment in Europe because I was no longer married. IT's because I could:

A. either steal their husbands or

B. I could give them the divorce cooties.

Thanks so much for these thoughts!

I think what you have done for less financially advantaged kids is wonderful. That's where I am with DD...she has this potential and just needs the exposure. You know what? She's been telling me for a while now she would like to learn the...you guessed it...violin :o) Of course the whole time I'm thinking....ooooh the costs. Here in Santa Barbara there is the Music Academy of the West (four miles away in Montecito) and also Westmont and I think these acadamys have programs for kids. I just never thought to look into assitance or help or funding through these programs.

And you'll love this, my performing arts friend- she loves to act in theatre. She has has a few parts through her school and now she really wants to do more. I'm thinking this summer of putting her in a junior theatre in town if I can and if I can work out the fees and transoortaion. Thank you for your encouragement- I know I can find the resources..

True, but I have seen women who also have no respect for themselves and ruthlessly seek married men for different advantages.

Yep...I've seen this too. They're like predators.

It makes me ill...they cannot seem to put themselves in the roles of the wife or steady girlfried, and what it would feel like to them.

I truly think women like this have severe relationship issues. It's safer to go into a zone where they know they don't have to worry about being in a relationship or hurt. Or they fee, but get all the gold digging opportunities and validation of being hot and attractive. I just never get it. And have you ever read the boards on ivillage about the women that do this? IT just blows my mind. It makes me want to always post something nasty, but then I remember that it's none of my business and thank goodness, I was raised with morals. I truly believe starting or continuing an affair is a mental issue. Not so much the men who lie, but the women that believe them. It's just mind boggling.
