So, remember how I talked to a girl I went to HS with? We had found each other on facebook and got to chat and she was the one who told me that they go to all the football games and there is homecoming coming up.

Well, she sends this note:

Well I think I might have news for you. I was just e-amiling (his name) and he said he remembered you because he thought you were so pretty. HHMMMMMMM someone might get lucky at Gibbons..........LOL.
He has never been married and lives around our county somewhere. I want to say very close to you. He owns his own business I think.
I took the liberty to fill him in on you.
OOOPPPS I forgot to tell him about your son.

Disclaimer: do not get your hopes up YET!

What do I wear to the game?

Cool!

I love reuniting with old friends..and who knows, maybe some sparks will fly between you two. This guy...did you know/date/friends with him in high school? Was there chemistry back then? Sorry if you already posted about this but I've had my head in lala land today. DD had school portraits today and I had to get up EARLY to fix her hair LOL.

I think I would totally be yourself and wear what represents you, as you would go to a game. You have a regular sporty and cute wardrobe for games and races, I imagine!

Have fun, it sounds like a blast!

AND he was on the cross country team and is sick of dating and really wants to meet someone.

She just emailed me his pic and he is cute - looks like Mel Gibson.

Here is what he wrote her:

How funny, I just logged on to classmates.com about a week or so ago and came across Judy's profile. I certainly remember her because I (along with every other guy at school) thought she was very pretty. But I never had the confidence to approach her back then. Besides, being a freshman at 6'-2" and around 120 lbs with acne....well, those were awkward years for some of us. I understand from her profile she's a chef and lives in near me.

As for the game, I was thinking it would be fun to attend.

So, what else is up with you as of late?

I knew him in HS - but never dated him. I lived a little far away from the school so didn't have the opportunity to do a lot of the events or activities. Plus I worked the last 2 years.

I guess we will have to wait and see if he is "into me" and what happens.

With regards to dressing I am a total spaz! I go through the closet so many times and can never find something to wear. I will have my friend help me with that tomorrow - she is so good at dressing and matching outfits. I know that sounds dumb - but it is just something I struggle with.

Wow, a Mel Gibson, but we'll hope he doesn't act like him. I've been very disappointed in Mel!

Anyhow, the shape you're in...you'll look good in anything. Nice jeans and a button down would probably suit you just fine for a football game.

Yes, I vote for the legs too. What's the weather like where you are right now? Is it possible to flash them in a skirt or shorts? ;o)

Yeah Judy, and then maybe you have some recycling to take out and you'll just have to reach down to the bottom of the bin... ring a bell?

Yes- that was funny!!!!!!!!!!

Okay - and yes to missclemmy - it is HOT here - like still in the 80s so definitely short weather.

My 23 year old friend/helper is coming today (she is going to school and I hire her part time and work around her school schedule - we always have so much fun together) - anyway she has a total knack for putting outfits together so she will help me.
