is that there is no one here to appreciate what I am accomplishing this week! OMG. I am EXHAUSTED & have a LOT more to do! I have to get rid of my moms old couch. I wanted to keep it & recover it so it was beautiful again, but it would cost me 1K to do it right .... & its just ridiculous. I have a brand new one from my Gram being delivered tomorrow. I dont have a garage or basement, so no storage. I have 2 nice wooden sheds, but that couch would take up SO much room in one AND likely get mice nests in it or something. So ... I said good-bye to it (tearfully!) just now & the man with a truck is coming to take it away. I have SO many of her things - beautiful antiques - i dont NEED to hold onto the couch. But ouch!

ANYway, i just went & cleaned out one of the sheds (did the other last spring). WOWZA.

Wow Rebecca you are on fire!! Well done.
Oh & I don't have ANY shovels (there's probably a few in dh's, ie MY house though!).

You mention you rent out the main house. Do you have 2 houses on your block, or is it a farm or similar? Sounds like a good way to get some $! :o)

after the divorce, i changed my name , moved to a new house and had a new phone number. the collection agencies started calling me for xh , asking if i was mrs. s? I answered them "i'm better than mrs s. i am the x mrs s. how can i help you collect money from the xhusband?" i provided numbers and addresses for all his relatives.xh had not given me his cel phone and had changed his home. the calls to me stopped.

I have always admired your ingenuity on this - very good!! That teaches Avery a lot of good things too - that you can think out of the box - and what great bonding time that you are nestled in your little place while the guests are there.

Moony, I think you're being too nice at sheltering your ex from his debts.

What a great idea Rebecca! It looks lovely too.
Although I wouldn't fancy moving stuff backwards & forwards (clothes etc), although you probably have that down to a fine art now :o)
You are a very smart person!
PS Your house sounds like the one I left behind :o( 4 bedrooms + study, 2 bathrooms, formal lounge & dining room, huge family room, pool ...... thing is I'm happier anyway!

I didn't get your title and your story, but I understand just venting/downloading the brain...
