Party was boring

I was really looking forward to the weekend parties.. but alas, the party friday night was boring!! I got to spend some time with the new reporter, Zoey, who says she's a partier, too... and a couple other single females from work suggested a "girls night out" after work one night... I'll follow up with them to make sure it happens. We plan to check out a few clubs downtown... more places i've never been.

Back to the party... when i first got to the irish bar/club.. it was a nice place. i thought "this place has potential"... Within 5 minutes a guy up at the bar was making conversation with me while i was getting my drink...

BUT everyone for the birthday party was in the rear and tucked away.. So, I left the bar (and the new guy) to be with the birthday crowd... It was the usual coworker mingling and i was bored.. when i looked over at the guy who had made conversation (thinking maybe i should go back and talk some more), he was already conversing with someone else... :-(.... so i thought "i guess he was talking to everyone who came up to the bar".... after an hour and a half ... i went home. But like i said, maybe "networking" with the other single females will help me find new hot spots....

Its not a total bust if you have the potential of new things/places/friends with other single girls. Finding new avenues is good.

Good luck
