It sounds like you had an AWESOME time!
You've got such a great attitude! The time with your son and other children sounds priceless to me. Those times are invaluable and they are the times that make such wonderful memories. Its heartwarming that you allow yourself to feel the wonderful moments. I love your spirit!
My best wishes and thoughts
hi there, what an awesome post and I can relate so much about the younger kids not getting my full attention and just recently a lightbulb went off in my head as they say, when

I keep being reminded that most of "bad" behavior from our children is their cry for attention.
Isn't it odd the things that go through kids' minds. And so sweet that he told you that. At least he realizes that one day his pickiness might go away. Bless his heart, I bet that has been worrying him for quite some time.
As far as countrydude, I agree with Moon....he's a boob!
We are rooting for you on your job hunt. Something will come your way. Maybe now that the holidays are over you will hear from one of them.
I've got my fingers crossed and it's getting really hard to type! :-)
Shooot girlie..........LOL, thanks, I've got my fingers, toes, legs, tubes and everything else crossed waiting on a phone call ;-p
It was an awesome time and there were a few moments when I just felt such peace and God's presence while there.
Thank you chickie!
Thanks girlie!
I hope something opens up for you in the job market soon. People are just now getting back to work, so that may be slowing things down. At least you can work at the store for now. Who knows what 2008 will hold for you. Sometimes some of the best things that have happened to me were the result of one door closing and another opening. Although you had to pry my fingers from that closing door...
