He was incredibly gorgeous, and the note was incredibly overblown.

It's a scam of some sort - gotta be.

That is just crazy. Blabbling and babbling about nothing - it would take him less time to write one or two personal sentences than to create all that and keep sending it out. I would say it is a form letter for a green card for sure. Some poor unsuspecting vacuum cleaner could fall prey. Oh dear!

i got one similar to that when I started on Match. It was a guy from the UK who said I was the "dublicate" (spelled that way) of an Angel. He knew that GOD put me on the earth to be his angel. Eek.
My friends called me dublicate for a while. LOL

My take is that English is definitely not his first language and he apparently hasn't grasped the concept of spell check. I also think he's either desperately lonely and any warm body will do, or truly believes that he can find his soulmate simply by being attracted to a picture.

Luckily, we all know better!

Moody, so glad to be done with OLD

Well, other than the fact that it is very sweet, it's creepy. I mean I could never date a guy who cannot write intelligently. I am a very technical writer and I even slap myself when I see mistakes in my posts on here! So his note raises tons of red flags just in that aspect. Also, "my happiness lies in your love"???? EXCUSE ME??? This guy has not met you and he says that crap? EWWW....I mean I don't even want an established relationship to tell me that. I think you are right to ignore that one.
