Well....four days ago Crush bought me the "easy potty training guide" off of the internet. It said that by following the instructions, etc., then my child would be potty trained in 3 days. Of course I was skeptical and really didn't think it would work. However, I followed it to the "T." It was a little difficult at first, not to mention messy. But...making this the fourth day...dd is officially going to the potty BY HERSELF!!! I stop all liquids 2 hours before her bedtime (except for the occassional drink, etc. when she says she's thirsty). I threw out all diapers, got rid of the night time sippy cup, and went to the store and let her pick out her own big girl underpants and treats for when she did go.
This also makes the fourth morning that she's woke up completely dry! The guide said to put her to bed in her underpants, so I did, and she hasn't had any accidents yet!! But I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Accidents happen....
It's such an awesome feeling to see her "go" by herself. She feels so big, and she dances around and claps and says "I'm a big girl!"
At first I was having to ask her if she needed to go every 15 seconds, or so it felt like. However, now she comes and tells me that she needs to potty, and then she goes! She's even (sry if TMI) pooped the potty by herself!!! I've never been so happy over poop!!! LOL
Just thought I'd share! Crush helped so much too...and it's so funny to see the two of them dancing around b/c she went potty!!!

That's AWESOME news Kait!
Oh, I am so there with you Alison except on one fact. I changed T's daycare and within 3 days of being there the Guy who was the Daycare provider had him potty trained to within an inch of his live. We never had any accidents even when he had the flu. He used loli-pops as rewards.
I think sometimes it's a matter of just finding the right care giver. I ended up using the same one till T started middle school.
