The pros and cons of having broken up with RG.

Cons:

my heart is broken
I broke his heart
I feel like a quiter
I feel like I did a good friend a disservice
I feel like I bailed before giving it my all
I lost a good friend
The worse part is I can still hear the shakiness in his voice when I told him

I cant think of any pros. I feel like sh_t. Going to bed and hoping to wake up in someone elses body.

Ugh- nice. I can see why that was the straw that broke the camels back!

If the guy is a recluse though, then I'm not surprised that he just hung out with you. He's not comfortable with more than one on one- not that he's ashamed of you at all!

My ex was the same- but he was ok to hang out with HIS friends and HIS family, but not mine. That was put on the big old checklist of what was NOT acceptable of a partner LOL!

((((Laurie))))

I'm sorry..I know the heartache. I admire you for doing what is right for you.. I can undertstand how you came to the conclusion. RG's actions showed he was selfish in not allowing you two to be out with friends and share you with the world..he must have been insecure and too private to let anyone iinto your lives. I'm really sorry..I know it hurts badly to let someone go.

How are you doing today?

Doing better everyday. Thanks for all the support.

I am going to try plentyoffish for dating. Not looking forward to it though but trying to keep my chin up.

I am sorry that you are going through this but I am also happy that you are putting your needs first and not letting it drag you down deeper.

Good - at the very least - try to have a sense of humor and post what you find so we can have a laugh with you. There are good ones - but it does take time to weed them. And it can be a fun diversion.

How you ended it with RG is similar on how I ended it with CNDG.
