What makes you happy?

Big or small, what puts a smile on your face and a kick in your step?

Is there anything you wish you could change to be happier?

I always find its the small stuff that makes me the happiest...quality time with my kids is a big one, feeling like I'm on the ball wiht the kids, work and myslef always helps too! A good book, hot bath, a good chat wiht a close friend.

WARM WEATHER, Toes in the sand, the ocean, a really great hug, my girls telling me that they love me,and a impromptu whistle from a stranger..;) (those are always fun!)

I wish i could change the relationship that i have with my exhub..I would be 1000% happier if he chould get his STUFF together.

AMEN - couldn't agree with that more. Being on top of the game around here is where it is at.

The simple things in life are the best - enjoyable times with family and friends - those are the best. And so is good health for me and DS - that is all we need.

Every time my son comes up to me and gives me a hug or kiss for no reason. I could be folding laundry and he jumps up and shows me how much he loves me.

The only thing that would make me happier is if his father would see him more. DS hasn't seen his dad in 3 months. Not that I think his dad is any good but it would make DS feel better and not wonder if he dad really cares about him.

Also, everytime my bf kisses me I get those happy butterflies. After a year of kissing he can still make them flutter!

I agree with everyone else that it's the small things that make me happy. Here are a few that come to mind:

- when my kids tell me I'm the best "cooker" in the whole world;

- when they tell me they love me more than anything in the whole world;

- when I get a "good job" compliment at work;

- when my BF picked up a six pack of my favorite beer because it was on sale and he know it's my favorite -- but I won't buy it because it's too expensive;

- when he made pasta for dinner last Friday and he didn't put meat in it because I don't eat meat on Fridays during lent.
Can't get any littler than that, but it's the small stuff that makes me know he listens when I talk and he is thoughtful and respects my beliefs.
