Thanks to Mark for prompting this one:

Question of the day:

You, in your present situtation- whether you're single, dating, in a relationship- TODAY, you find yourself (or your partner/ last sexual partner) pregnant.

Just because they aren't invited, doesn't mean they wouldn't be welcome."

So true. I was 42, and my boys were 12 and 15 when I got the news about D4. Yes, I was shocked, PB was pissed (like he didn't have any contribution to this situation, right?) and OW temporarily left him over the pregnancy. D4 is an angel. She is worth all the worry and stress. And the fibroid I had at the beginning of that pregnancy completely disappeared when she was born.

Now I am way too old to think about it. Having a 4yr old at my age is a lot harder than having 2 little boys in my early 30's.

I think my kids would have a bigger reaction to any pregnancy than CM or I would.

I am way late to the game on this post, but since this is a conversation that comes up all the time at our house, I thought I'd share it.

SEV has no qualms about having another baby.

I'd be shocked considering I happily had my tubes tied a couple years ago.

What would I do? Uh, FREAK OUT! I can't even fathom being pregnant at the age of 44! I have no idea how my partner would feel. He decided to end our relationship by pulling a disappearing act, so I doubt the response would be good.

No, this was the guy I was dating last year that I gave a second chance. I was dating another guy that I took a trip to Florida with earlier this year. He was the one who had never married. I had a hard time getting HIM to go away when I decided to end things! I think I would rather have them disappear than harass me!
I am doing fine, so no worries!
