Ok, off the topic of dating... lets talk about music.

Who's your favorite artist or group?

Who do you listen to when you're happy, sad or angry?

What's your favorite "make out" song?

What do you like to listen to on a long drive?

What's "YOUR" song? (The one that makes you feel awesome about yourself)

What's "our" song? (If you have a SO, or your past SO)

Snow:

I LOVED this story! I'm jealous too; that's so cool. My sister turned me onto Nickelback, and I think they get better with each new CD. I'm surpised I haven't worn out their new CD either because I play it every day. Try putting it on next time you get romantic; I tell ya, it give me a big rush! I always put my kids first, and I don't want to disappoint my son, so I'm skipping the concert for Cub Scout camping, although it's really killing me inside!

I also love all kinds of music; everything from Motown to olides, to classic rock and rock; but my favorite is 80's rock (I graduated high school in '83) and especially 80's "hairband" rock like Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Poison, Motley Crue, Warrant, etc.

Anyway, I love talking about music and I can go on all day. Thanks for the story!

Moody Green Eyes & Snow:

You guys got to move to Chicago or come for a visit! There's lots of guys up here. Just have a feeling you guys are a lot younger than me, and if that's true, you'd probably have guys all over you. When I turned 40 in November, I thought I was too old for anyone to want to date me. Much to my surprise (and I am not bragging), I've had guys coming out of the woodwork. I'm in a relationship and I have old flings and acquaintances still calling me. I think 40's pretty cool. Of course, any mom of twins that likes Def Leppard and Motley Crue isn't your average 40-year-old mom. Even though my kids would never admit it, and for what it's worth, I think I'm pretty cool.

Any way, if you all ever get to Chicago, look me up!

Sign me up! I'm 25, but ALL of my friends are either 40, over 40, or will be 40 within 2 years. All of the guys I've dated recently pretty much fit in that catergory, too.

I'm not anti-young men, I just can't seem to find a guy my age with a lifesytle similar to mine. I would ADORE finding a man in his late 20's to early 30's with young children, a career (versus a job or unemployment), a home versus an apartment shared with a bunch of roommates, who likes to go out and have a good time once in a while versus daily and who would prefer family time over chilling with his "boys".... so I typically date men older than me because our lifestyles line up better.

Chicago for a visit sounds great right about now. Anywhere for a visit sounds great right about now, actually- there's nothing doing here.

Aces, if you're still around, I was not really joking about you having cousins or brothers in the Northeast!

Ok, Snow, let me just plan around... my real life, and I'm totally there!

Seriously, if I ever take a vacation, I'll come to Chicago--- hey, now I have even more incentive to quit smoking, I'll start a vacation fund with the money!!

you forgot Y&T, Van Halen, Scorpions and the come back of Aerosmith. I'm an 84 graduate and still love to slip my vintage disk's out for my DS's friends, they think it's sooo cool I have the original album's of so many of their downloads.

Jer-Who was crushed against the barrier of the VH concert in 83 at the Cow Palace in San Fransico for 3 nights and took my little sister to the Purple Rain concert for her first ever.

Bad Religion...its punk rock (southern california kid)

I lilsten to Jars of Clay when I am sad or the sound track of a river runs through it.

I don't have a favorite make-out song

I like to listen to oldies on long drives or country

I have so many songs that motivate me. Many songs you would find on a variety station. Matchbox 20 has a few songs that really motivate me.

Me and the girl at work always noticed when Bon Jovis latest song was on. When we were together it would play and she would sing. Its the first song I heard her sing to when were out for the first time at the hockey game.

Snow, u and I have too much in common. Matchbox 20 is something I listened to regularly through high school when I found out that the girl I had affection for again was not interested. Man I have some bad luck. I just found it interesting to see you bring up this group...we have that in common. Maybe I am your adopted little bro afterall? Check with your parents...
