QOTW- for fun

Ok ladies and gents, I thought we could have some fun: what kind of person are you?
You're heading out the door in the morning, are you more likely to be:
- walking out the door with keys, wallet/ purse and anything else you need all together and easily found?
- know where the wallet/ purse are, but spend 10 mins searching for keys?
- running around frantically, already late, tearing the house apart to find the keys, wallet/ purse, phone, credit cards, cheque book, etc and spend 10 mins rounding up each one?
You wake up on Sunday morning, are you more likely to:
- be up at the crack of dawn, have the house cleaned within an hour and be cooking for the next week's meals by 9 am? (judy)
- be up at a little after the alarm would normally go off, make pancakes and coffee and stay in pj's til 10 and then get out for the day?
- be up at noon, stay in pj's all day and snooze on the couch?
Your idea of cleaning the bathroom is:
- Wiping the sink with a tissue when you see the toothpaste stains.
- Surface wipe once a week, but neglect the shower for a few weeks.
- Scrub every surface daily with clorox.

Well I am glad that I am getting lots of validation that MY kid isn't the only one- I was thinking maybe she had "can't walk and chew gum a the same time" syndrom or something, lol. She is Sooo easily distracted!
I also got validation from this post that lots of us HATE laundry. I thought that I was just
wouldn't it be nice to have someone who came and just did laundry for you?
that would be great! And since we're dreaming, I'd love to have someone do my dishes (I don't have
April
can't stand standing over the sink and cleaning dishes...they tend to only get done once every couple of days--is it terrible that I admit that?
Even worse-
I would love to be that way--it's easy with cereal bowls or something like that but when I make a big dinner there are a lot of dishes to do and after making dinner and, well, eating it, I really don't want to clean the sink full of dishes!

I am somewhere between 1. and 2. on this one. When I am super busy I can make efforts of absolute organization and get very anal about it so that I know I am not going to mess up the schedule and that is when I know where EVERYTHING is. I tend to dirve everyone else in the house crazy during these times though!

I am 1. on this one because I work on Saturdays and Sundays with young violinists at my house so I have to straighten up everything and be ready for work at 9. I generally have more free time on the weekday than the weekends because of my job...otherwise, I like to think I would be sleeping in but I dont know if it is too late to teach my body that or not!!:(

I am 2. on this. I might do slightly more than once a week though. We all share a bathroom here and my clean threshhold gets challenged living with two males - yuck!
Your laundry is:
1.Always washed, folded and put away right away.
2.Washed and folded and living in the basket til next wash.
3.Still in the dryer.
Between 2. and 3. God I hate laundry. I think we have WAYYYY too many clothes. WE need someone from "what not to wear" to come over here with a big trashbin...
You dust the house:
1.Every day
2.Once a month
3.When you can't see the tv shows anymore
I think I dust twice a week. It just makes the place look neater. We have leather and wood and a big tv over here and it looks not so hip and modern when it is coated in dust. We are pretty minimal in the decor to make room for all of us in a two bedroom. I do the floors and the rug and the dusting more than most people I think to keep the space tidy.
You clean out the car:
I.1t never gets dirty- you take trash out every day.
2.When the garbage doesn't let the kids sit with their feet on the floor anymore.
3.You've never cleaned out the car.
Um 2. I hate cars and just dont care!!! I am truly horrible about this one.
The department store clerk offers you a free lipstick sample, you choose:
1.Something mute, more like a gloss
2.Something pretty and soft
3.Something racy and bold
I probably would go 1. with the nude. But if the racy color is worthy of stage makeup I might go for it because of my job!
Wow Alison, great questions!! I always love to have quizzes here - it is fun to read what everyone writes!!

Okay - I clean as I go - and I pay a guy to detail it like once or twice a year.

Anyone have any they want to add? Right now I am TIRED - it is already past my bed time - but I have started to fall into the habit of cleaning the house at night so I don't mind running out the door at 5:30 to swim - otherwise I am irritated by the early morning swim because I would rather be cleaning - LOL!!
