Thinking of Tiara's post, I got to thinking about timelines... the "expected" timeframe of certain events.

Well my "expectations" have changed so much as I have gotten older. I used to feel rushed and anxious when I was young, to move things along. These days I'm very happy letting things happen as they will without a timeline. However, even these days I think I would get antsy of after say 6 months or a year and I felt we were
Lets add ... getting Nakie time too ...
BE and I got Nakie exactly one week after our first date. Soon? Yes... but we had known each other
LOL!!!! It was OUR third date, too! We made it a sleep over ;o) I just knew also, somehow that it was not just a quick sex thing but something more serious- I just knew then somehow. BE laughs at how I jumped him bacause I had not been with anyone in over a year. OK he was kinda right but how could I resist!

I'm not sure if I can answer any of these. I've had some things with different relationships happen in so many different speeds- I just don't think there is any set time (even within myself, unspoken) except to just live life as it unfolds and let things happen as they may. Time, to me -is just a mere BLIP in the sea of a lifetime (especially now that I'm older, I see things this way).
That and the expectations of ANYTHING happening within any kind of time frame- just asks for anxiety or disappointment if they don't happen soon enough. Or some panic if they happen too soon. I'm not knocking anyone's replies with the time frame- it's definitely interesting to see the variety! But I've been thinking over the items and I just don't know if I can put any set time to any of them.
Except the ones about having kids. I'm soooooo done- so that's not gonna happen!!!!!
I'm just living life day by day- and already nearly 3 years of being together with my Hiker forever. :-)
