Here's a scenario and I want to know how you would deal with it...

You go to the grocery store and come home to find that the bagger gave you someone else's bag...

I live far enough from the grocery store that returning just for that would create HUGE scheduling issues for me on any normal day. If there was something important (my grocery store also has a pharmacy) like medication or expensive items, or if I was planning to go back to town anyhow, I would return it. If it was apples and celery, I'd probably not return it, but I would make sure to be more aware next time.

I have actually forgotten a bag of groceries before. I stopped using that grocery store when we moved here, but they used to have "baggers" who brought your groceries out for you to your car. However, one day, I got about four bags worth, had both kids with me, plus things like laundry soap and milk, and there was no bagger. In trying to haul all of that with the little kids, I forgot one of the bags. It wasn't a huge deal, but it definitely made the decision to switch stores easier for me.

The one I use now is a larger one, where the cashier does the bagging (sometimes with a bagger) but the you put the bags in your cart and haul them out yourself. This works out much better for us, since it's harder to frget anything if you're putting the bags into your cart as they get bagged up, and you can load them at your pace into your car.

Moody, who should buy a few groceries today

I would probably keep it since it is cheap stuff and chalk it up to all the things that the store sold me that were rotten and had to be thrown away but I didn't have the time to take them back. Unless of course I was going back to the store then I would take it if it was convenient.

That is a lesson to watch out for your stuff!
