Question - can they?

Can someone who calls your cell phone fix it where the calls will not show up on the itemized bill? My ex called me 18 times in a 10 minute period and it is not showing up on my bill. My lawyer wants the bill to have proof for the judge, but it's not on there. Could he have somehow fixed it where it wouldn't show up? Or do you think it could be on the next billing cycle even though the calls were place on 10-7-05? The billing cycle now is from 9/28-10/28, and the calls he made to harass me are nowhere to be found!!! What can or should I do?

Nevermind....

I didn't pick up the phone when he was calling, so therefore, the cell phone company wouldn't have charged me for those calls. Hence, the calls wouldn't be on the phone bill. But do you think there's anyway that they can send me something showing that he called but I didn't pick up or something? I'm grasping at straws...I know I'm telling the truth and that these people are going to lie like dogs at the hearing next week. AAGGGHHH....I hate all this crap...but I'm not going to back down! I feel so much better that my atty is helping me for free...it gives me more courage to know that someone will be there to represent me.

Thanks for the support! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

The only thing you will have for actual proof is the call log in your phone. OR if someone witnessed it.

BUT if you keep a detailed journal of what he has done - with the dates and times written down then that will often suffice.

It will be the whole story of what he has done that will hang him. You do have proof that he went to that class. And you do have your family's account of what they did.

It is not like he just got mad on one day. He has done a string of things and you will be able to prove those.

Thank goodness your attorney is stepping up to the plate for you.

Hang in there and keep us posted.

I agree with West. The only proof you need is your own notes. Record the date and the incident.

I had an extremely ugly custody ordeal. It was a nightmare where my ex lied about everything. It didn't matter. Judges know when someone is lying. I testified about incidents and the only proof I had were notes I had taken when things happened. I recorded everything in a word document table. Date and description of events.
