WOW! I'm barely three months along and I'm wearing maternity clothes. I'm not huge, but there is a noticeable bulge up front. And bending over isn't as easy, nor is getting up off the floor when I play with D.

I'm also feeling icky a little bit lately. Not how I wanted to do this. I figured it would be different this time. Oh well. Good news is that I'm very healthy and so is the baby. And I find time to sleep. But I am having the worst dreams. I'll have to tell you all about it!

ARe you done with that exhausted stage or did you never get to that? FOr me, the very best part of pregnancy was delivery because then I was done. I really hated the entire experience...you know how women tell you that God makes you forget so that you'll do it again? the second time was so bad that I'll NEVER forget. Be glad that it's just a little icky and nothing like being sick 24/7 and having to go to the emergency room to be hydrated...or even worse, having gestational diabetes and having to give yourself shots, double ugh. Women who have big families...I take my hat off to them.

Enjoy these last couple of months with D. Have you gotten him any books yet about the new baby? I remember two, one is a Tommie Di Paola, very cute and charming and I think the second one is Peter's Chair which was ok.

Oh Mel, sorry to hear you are feeling yucky. I remember that it all got a little better around the fourth month. Hopefully this does for you, too.

I'm still very tired, but I think it is mostly because I'm having trouble sleeping. I remember feeling so bad with Dylan. I was so sick, I couldn't lift my head without dry heaving. I had nothing to chuck up. I drank water and ate small bites of apple and that's all I could keep down. It would take me literally all day to swallow a very small glass of water.

Never had to go to the ER, but I sure was scared.

I'll have to look into books for D. We have great bookstores here. I might go today. My mom is coming to visit me and we will need to get out of here and look around. I may take her to Barnes and Noble or Hastings.

Thanks!

Mel
