The view was as if the baby were sitting on a glass table and we were underneath.

It's a....

GIRL!!!

Shane and I are thrilled and of course, Dylan was right all along. He's so happy he's having a baby sister. She's growing perfectly and we saw all parts of her little body. She's just perfect. Everything is developing on time. I've gained 6 pounds so not bad. And that is just in the last 3 weeks. I wanted to share this with all of you!

So we will welcome little Emily Christine near Tax Day, 2005!

Actually there's a t-shirt at one of thelocal baby boutiques that has "I'm the BIG BROTHER" on it. I'm going to buy it for him for the big day. Of course, he could wear it early too if we're out in town. He's so cute about it. He is so excited about a baby sister. It's what he wanted. I think we're all still in shock because we expected to hear "boy" but saw girl parts. Dylan all along said I was having a girl and the overwhelming dream of Shane holding a daughter must have been some preminition.

Funny thing too, my parents were at the grocery store and he picked up a loaf of "Sun Beam" bread, which to anyone not familiar has a little blonde girl on the package eating a piece of bread. The expiration date on the loaf was the date of my ultrasound and he took it as an omen. The girl and the date. HMMM...my whole family is beginning to creep me out.

Well as long as the creeping out is cool, I won't worry about you. LOL! I'm sorry it's been hard. I know how I felt being all alone in my first pregnancy and then being married and thinking it would be different with the second one and how disappointed I was when I felt just as alone, or even more so.
My heart and thoughts go out to you! I'm thrilled we only live 4hrs away. I am an avid driver, so I think that's great. How far are you from Port Aransas? We could take the kids for a getaway weekend and have a girls weekend while Shane has one of his guy weekends. A bottle of wine or two, weepy women movies and talking till the cows come home and enjoying the beach with the kids. How's that sound? Big hugs to you! - Catherine
