Well due to medical reasons I have been on Steroids for over a year. My body and hormones adjusted to them, I am also on Thyroid medication and Birth control, I know a lot of hormones. Well I have been having issue with my foot and the ortho did not read my chart and me not being a doctor never put the two together.

Awwwww....((((Hugs)))))
My daughter was on very high doses of steroids (prednisone) for a period of time for an auti-immune disorder. It was so awful to see her go the symptoms- so I know what you must be feeling. She was emotional, swollen, cranky and miserable! I wish I had a solution to your symptoms. I know that keeping sodium out of dd's diet helped with the swelling. And plenty of rest was good for her emotional well being- but I gotta tell you it was HARD to get her to sleep, as you know the streoids can cause insomnia.
I think that just keeping PP informed as to WHY you feel so awful will help. At least he will know and understand your mood right now. Going away this weekend sounds good- try and take it easy. Rest, and get some good lovin- cuddle style. I bet that after the steroids are tapered/adjusted you will feel much better.
