So, name, age, location, children, children's ages, pets, job, update, etc- remember you do not have to give out any information you're not comfortable with!

Mark, just turned 54 (yikes!)

Portland, Oregon - I LOVE it HERE! native of Noo Joisey but been here for 18 yrs

Chili, my sweet shepherd-husky mix dog who I adopted from the Humane Society 5 years ago when I was out of work, living in an apartment, and without a job just after my divorce.

My two beautiful spirits Michael, 18 off to college in a month and Rachel my firey, kind 14 yr old girl off to high school. Their mother has full custody and they live 5 miles away. I get to see them weekly. They are my heroes and teachers.

I just started working for a non-profit, Catholic-based health insurance company whose affiliated organizations are hospitals and health services. I hope to retire here. I work as a Information Services project manager. I love the values and the people here.

I have been out of my marriage for 7 yrs and my children's mother has been effectively retired since my 18 yr old son was born. She cares not to speak to me. This has been the biggest regret for me, not to have used a lawyer for the divorce.

My last relationship ended November of 2005 with a woman whom I really did not have any chemistry with but I stuck with her for 1.5 yrs hoping that would not matter.

I am not dating anyone right now. I do hope whoever I do date will be the last one though.

Mark

That is why I felt so strong afterward.... I could let him go. In the past, I would have held on. I so enjoyed his company when he wasn't toast and it was just nice to be held (he knew how to do that very well and babied me like crazy, which is something I have never experienced before and yeah, kinda liked it). But thinking like a grown up, I let him go because it would not have been fair to either one of us in the long run.

name, age, location, children, children's ages, pets, job, update

New Me (you can call me M) mid thirties with two kids (6 and 7). No pets, looking for a new job (negotiating an offer as we speak), moving to a new apartment very soon. Starting dating New Guy (who Cat rightly says needs a new nickname) a little over two and a half months ago. Taking it slow and really loving it. Last night, I sat out on my terrace with a cup of tea and some music and enjoyed this moment in my life - when everything seems to be working. I didn't want it to pass by without relishing it.

Kristy (31), Kenzi (10), live in Midwest. BF has cat named Halo, and DD has a new kitten named Rosie. Divorced since March 2002. Dating BF for 7 months now, and things are going great. BF is 28, and has 2 boys EOW that are 6 and 9. He actually recently moved in. Which I know seems a bit fast. He is actually the first man I have lived with since my divorce 5 years ago, so it's not something I do lightly. We have known each other most of our lives though, and it just feels right.

well I have been lurking for longtime. I am single month of 3 great dd's and have been divorced for 6 years. I met the love my life 5 years ago and in 16 days I will again be married. the first years of the relationship was long distance by 2 hours but we made it work. I am experiencing the empty nest at this point for the daughter that lived with me moved to live with her and dad and work on their relationship and also work on her relationship with her little sister. By then end of the month I will be mrs again and I will have gotten 4 more kids which are all great. I have 3 grandkids 2 girls and a 6 week old boy and they are all lovely. Hi all here is the update.

Hi all!! Glad to be here! I'm Karie (30) from Massachusets and I have twins, Zack and Sarah, who will be 4 next tuesday. I also have Hayle and Daisy, my 2 dogs...not to mention Bubba (Fraiser) and Daphne, the 2 cats. I'm relatively newly divorced (will be legally final in about a month). I am a clinical social worker and LOVE my job!!! Emotionally, mentally, physically...I'm doing well. Unlike my Ex...ohh well! I'm dabbling in the dating scene, but I'm also enjoying my kids and my new single life. I'm trying to get out more with friends and meet more friends. That's harder than dating!! :) I'm on this site almost every day but don't have much time to post...but I'm working on it!!
