1) How did you meet your SO? and if you don't have an SO - what are you doing to get out there more and meet more people and be social?
no SO, I am still hammering out the details of a separation agreement ( I
still don't know if I ever want him back, but at least the door isn't locked
yet....)
I have been asked out by someone I am interested in, but I think I need to wait
a bit longer...
2) How many kids do you have?
3 ( 9 yr old boy, 3 and 5 year girls)
3) Your age?
32
4) Your acceptable age range for your SO?
32-45
5) Do you want more kids of your own?
I have 2 ex's in the picture (my son's dad and my girl's dad, I don't know that
I could add another chhld into the picture and still set an example for the
children I currently have......besides, my teaching career is taking off
again...
6) How long have you been on your own?
I raised my son on my own for almost 2 years, married my husband, and now
after 7 years of marriage my husband moved out 2 months ago
Janet, I literally laughed out loud at your post.
All of my friends are older than I am- most of them are my parents' ages. My slogan has always been- "Take my advice, I'm not using it!" Everyone tells me I look and act older than I am (which may or may not be a good thing, but for now, I'll take it.) I typically don't have much in common with people my age.
It's a theme. I'm used to it by now, but it definitely makes meeting men a challenge- men my age aren't usually into settling down, men older think I'm into partying all of the time. That's why I'm willing and have dated men literally older than my father. They're sometimes the only ones I have anything in common with. Age truly is just a number for some people.
Moody- just a wise old soul over here

That is cool - I would have thought you are older, too.
It is funny, when I was younger I dated a few older men. And now that I am older, I would not mind dating a younger guy - mostly because I enjoy being very active.
I have had so much fun reading EVERYONE's responses - and then it dawned on me that I forgot to respond. So here goes:
1) How did you meet your SO? and if you don't have an SO - what are you doing to get out there more and meet more people and be social?
Well, I currently don't have an SO. But I am doing a lot of working out and going to athletic events and just general meeting people and networking. I have done online dating - but did get really really burned out on it in the past - so prefer just to be busy and let fate take its own course.
2) How many kids do you have?
I have one son
3) Your age?
44
4) Your acceptable age range for your SO?
34 to 54
5) Do you want more kids of your own?
I did for a while but now I think I am done and do not - maybe because since DS is older I really have my life back and have some interests so strong they take my mind off dating. I realize that now I can really pursue my interests.
6) How long have you been on your own?
6 years
