QUITE impressive on the BEFORE and AFTER... congrats on that! I was wondering what motivated you to undertake such an endeavor and how long it took to reach your goal?
Kewl to hear about you and Hiker.
Hugs,
Mark

Thanks, Mark! I really, really like it when I'm fit. :-)
That first pic was from 2003. One of the many pics that year that made me finally "wake up" and realize how unhealthy and fat I'd let myself become. After that (for most of 2004), I tried to do my own bits of exercising and eating better, with minimal success, but I did lose about 10 lbs. Then in 2005, I "discovered" a great workout that WORKED to shed off those evil dratted "last 10 lbs" and I was psyched!!!! So I guess it took about 2 yrs to lose the total pounds... but had I found the workouts sooner, I would say I probably could've done it in less than 1 yr. I've been adding more workouts to my "collection" so I have quite a bit of versatility. That "after" pic was from spring of 2007, March, I think- when I was already at my lowest weight, but also at my fittest.
Unfortunately, since my Mom passed away last May, I'd let myself go a bit (okay, alot) and I'd gained alot of that back... but thankfully the muscle structure is still there underneath, as I'm starting to get it all back in shape again in just a couple of weeks. Not that I'm "there" yet... but I will get there soon... and more. I have to say, it's really nice to get that motivation and energy back again. :-)
