dating/ seeing:M, for 2 years this weekend
how long have you been a member of this board: Almost 2 years
quick update: M finally looked at his parenting plan, he has his D13 (D15 is away w/ friends) most of this weekend. So we may just go up to No Az for the 4th. No sailing, M did not get the boat in order for that. What is it with me and men who can't/won't plan ahead? This is the only trait M has in common with PsychoBoy. Oh, and speaking of him, he's in a calmer phase at the moment, we'll see how long it lasts this time.

You are hilarious with the pet list - a tortoise and a rabbit - how do you do that with a dog? Does the dog chase the rabbit?

Thank HEAVENS that is the only trait M has in common with PB!!!! And let's pray that PB stays in calm mode for a bit - you SURELY deserve that after the last go-round.

Planning ahead - maybe he needs an incentive? ;-)

I haven't met very many men who plan ahead either!

Actually, the dog is afraid of the rabbit. We used to have 3 rabbits but S19's pair of purebred Mini Lops died at age 5, like their warrantee had run out or something. 5 is how long most rabbits live. Oreo is mixed Satin/Mini Lop so she has more genetic strength. She also was the Queen Bunny and bossed the other 2 around. When Einstein arrived as a puppy he would chase the rabbits but Oreo would stand her ground and rise up on her hind legs and smack the dog across the face. He has learned to give her a wide area. But now, we keep the pets apart. And ever since I had to resume having pest control do a monthly service ( dog picked up ticks from the pack rats that he chases out of the backyard) the tortoise has to live in a fenced area of the yard they do not spray.

Since PB has the kids a lot this month he should be less of a creep, but who knows? If he decides he wants to take them somewhere he'll give me minimal notice. He's been in this funk about how he has to "put me in my place" or "show me he's the boss." My standing my ground on the parenting plan as it is written is bugging the heck out of him. He just has to be above the "rules."
