Dang, R- you're daring!!! I'm not sure if I could fish up someone and go out all in a matter of hours like that! Just be safe!

And I know everyone here would LOVE to hear how this turns out! lol

I think that sounds like a great idea - to post that you want a movie date for the evening.I think that is a better way to go about meeting someone - a lot less pressure. Keep us posted! I had to think for a minute who is LB - and then I got it!

Well, I totally agree with your assessment particularly the point about the age and the stability - at his age he has to have more.

But I think you just found a great way to meet someone - hey I am going to the movies - that seems a little more encouraging and easy and less intimidating for an approach. The only thing is that leaves you to screen the one daters versus the relationship prospects. And it side steps the whole issue of seeing how they ask you out. Although it would show they are flexible and you can judge the rest from there. I think too much!!

Glad you still got to to out - the internet is an amazing tool!

Hi, A friend in Boston told me that there is a meet for lunch kind of dating organisation there. Mostly for professionals they arrange for lunch dates- that must be worth a try for you. And you are almost guarenteed to meet people with "proper"

"It's Just Lunch" in Dallas is pretty pricey.
