This poor man just won the award for the most poorly spelled profile:

"I am verry adventours. I can alwease find things to do but I'm never too bizzy to be a gentalman. I like geting out doing aneything. I also like watching a movie while cuddleing with a prity lady. I am an internationally published writer. I am verry creative and great with my hands. I havent ever found anything that I couldnt bild or fix........"

OMG - it even gets better after that with the grammar and spelling. I mean - I can forgive a few typos - but not like that and with motorcycle pix and long hair, at least not for me.

Of course you can imagine what I first thought when I saw his profile title - race me - I was hoping he was a runner - LOL!!

Okay - had to share girls - hopefully that gave you a chuckle. His award..........sound of trumpet horns - ta da..........my delete key!! :-)

And it says he's a published writer. LOL. That's a definite DELETE.

I think he fixes diesel engines - and he mentions that he knows he can't spell and that his publisher has an editor to fix stuff and that he bought a computer but the online profile writer doesn't have spell check.

You know, I was thinking that he would be okay for a nice gal who is less educated and appreciates his talents - because it is nice to have a guy who can fix things. It is just not right for me. And in the age of computers it is commonly known that you can use Word and copy paste - the poor thing just doesn't know that yet.

It was cute and funny. I mean, you never know what you are going to see. I could post stories and stories.

This morning there was also a guy who wrote and he had a picture of himself in his bed like he was laying there waiting for his woman. What are these guys thinking? When I first started OLD I thought every guy would want a nice girl and a nice relationship - boy was I in for a RUDE awakening!! I took it way too serious at that time - which is why I got so sick of it. I really think OLD is just one step away/better than meeting strangers at a bar.

OH NO - and there was one more. Okay girls - picture this one - el capitain of the airplane - pictured all duffied up in his uniform at the control. Profile says..... age 47. BUT buried in his bravado writing about love is his real age of 57 and admitting that he fibbed.

DELETE!

I think someone should write a movie about online dating.

OH - and good news - the men working on the floors finally finished most of my room so now I can get into the closet and bathroom and I am dressed for my 2PM date - I figured if I did that early I would not have nerves and go into a dressing tizzy. It is only coffee and so far that strategy worked!

If I didn't think I'd read that guy's profile, I would say you were making it up! The funniest thing to me about typos and spelling errors is that most of the sites either had a spell check, or you could type it into a word processing program, run that program's spell check, and then copy/paste.

This guy obviously wasn't all that concerned with making a good impression, or taking his time to do a job right. Even if you thought you might be compatible with a guy like that, these would be red flags for me simply because the lack of attention to detail when he was presumably trying to put his best foot forward would make me believe he was going to be as inattentive to detail further down the road.

Moody, getting ready to press your NEXT button for you, but it was worth the chuckle

True Moody - the thing is that it would take less time to copy/paste into word and spell check than to type on and on about how you are a bad speller.

He reminds me of the kids that argue they don't want to do their homework or a chore and go on and on and on when it takes less energy and time to just do it and be helpful. That is sort of a stingy thing.
