Short vent--danged office junk

Sorry to vent ladies, just sparing my office mate more griping. We moved our offices last week and it was awful! The worst part though is that they stuck the people with the most stuff in terms of files we have to have and store in our office together. We are both managers (although mine is still and "acting" manager title and they've made it clear that they just want me to clean up the mess left by my predessor to give it to someone from outside but that'll probably be at least 4-6 months). Anyway, we're both full time too. They gave two part-timers their own offices. Argh!! And to make matters worse, the move committee specifically ignored my only request with the move--that I be placed so that I could have the overhead lightbulbs taken out or keep the lights off because working on the computer under florescent lights triggers my migraines. It wasn't a bratty request; it was based on a medical factor! And they gave me a desk from one of the other offices that doesn't have a keyboard tray; again knowing that I've struggled with carpal tunnel. Okay, I'm done now. I soooooo don't want to go to work today. I am looking for another job but looking and getting hired are two different things and it's really hard right now to have faith. And I'm finding that I don't know enough people that are in positions to know of openings that aren't advertised to make the networking terribly successful. I mean, I've let everyone that I can think of know that I'm looking but . . . It's just hard to have a good attitude when they not only expect me to do more work than is reasonable or realistic but then heap on making my physical workplace uncomfortable too. Thanks for letting me vent.
