A sigh of relief....

We realy need a "WHEW" emoticon! LOL!

I called Shane's old job and it turns out I have until the 7th to handle the insurance stuff, so by then, we'll by better off. Still time to get the security deposit and his pay.

Oh and on his job front...he just called....the place he interviewed with hasn't ever made a decision. Sitting on their thumbs I guess. But the guy that got me into the mortgage business has been offered something he can't refuse...the chance to get back into cars (I don't get it, but Shane says once you've been in it, you know the appeal and how hard it is to stay). His friend will run the Ford store in a nearby town and has called on Shane to run the Used Cars divison. This should happen pretty quickly after the first. Of course, no relatives can know yet. They'll all call and pester him about it and he's annoyed with all of their worrying. But I had to say something to someone. I'm just happy for him.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will all turn out great.

Great news! They can be real sticklers about insurance rules with no way around them, I know. So I am glad to hear you've a little leeway with this.

Happy to hear it, good luck to you. Sometimes just a few extra days to breathe and figure out how to work it all out is all you need. Take care.
